* Kaliningrad and Vladivostok;
* Shanghai and Guangzhou;
* US naval bases in the Gulf of America, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic?
How many aircraft carriers does Russia have? How many aircraft carriers does China have and how often would they need to refuel enroute to the Colombian coast?
Putin's and Xi's promises are pretty hollow. And why are DUmmies cheering Putin's promise?

I don't really think that Trump gives one iota concerning Chinese and Russian support for Venezuela. They both have bigger fish to fry.

And they both have no means of launching - to say nothing of supporting - amphibious ops 8,000 miles from the nearest friendly base.

Just to give a bit of proportional perspective, USS Gerald R. Ford's air group, plus or minus the helicopters on accompanying DDGs, outnumbers the air power of Venezuela's military - air force and army. The Ford also has support from USAF AWACS and satellites as required. God knows how many and what types of missiles are deployed in the Ford's task group, which probably includes at least one SSN.
Trump isn't planning to invade Venezuela, and does not intend to attack Venezuela as a country. Venezuela might be stupid enough to provoke the latter, though.

Depends on how what they use for fuel. If they are nuclear .... they are good to go. :rimshot:

China's current carriers, the Liaoning, Shandong, and Fujian, are conventionally, not nuclear, fueled.
