Just got home van totaled guy ran red light
I was in an intersection turning left.Waiting for cars to pass the light turned red and cars kept coming through.I blasted my horn.And after the last car went through I started to turn that another car came and hit me. The guy had a gun on him and was younger. And said no hard feelings. Dude, I said you ran the red light. He goes, I will see you in court. It was yellow. I'm just kind of p***** because there's plenty of witnesses to sing.It wasn't my fault and the cops giving me a ticket for going through the red light.Also , because I was past the white
line in the intersection.... Right now I'm trying to relax.So i'm having a shot up vodka but i'm pissed

What's with DU members posting about life events like trips to grocery stores and traffic accidents?
What does "home van" mean? Is the DU-member living in it? Around here the less impaired among the Sacred Homeless, some/many of whom have jobs, have bought cheap used vans or RVs and live in those.

Thanks. I'm from the deep south so I have vast and personal experience with English that's not really English AND grammar that's not close to proper; however, this one was so screwed up that it had me rereading it two or three times.

It's amazing to think that about 50 years ago some proud father drove that gleaming machine off the Ford sales lot and as he was driving down his street to his house his neighbors peeked out their windows in envy of this man's new castle on wheels. They came out of their homes and made their way down to his front yard where the father was showing the new recreational vehicle off to his excited family, kids already planning where they would go on their first adventure and feeling privileged over their envious neighbors.

On the one hand, I'm glad that nobody was hurt.
On the other hand, I find the part about how cars "Kept coming" after the light turned red to be suspicious. I mean, sometimes in those situations there might be a straggler or two crossing an intersection as the light turns red, but for several to "Keep coming" after the light is red sounds like an unrealistic stretch.
