What a photograph.

What a photograph.

“Nearly two dozen arrested as faith leaders protested outside a federal immigration facility near Chicago…”

Arrested large amounts of peaceful clergy face first on pavement is a pretty good sign you’re not the good guys in the story. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

Almost certainly.

The Shitcago diocese has been especially prominent in their "nobody is illegal" clap trap for over a decade now, at least. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if one - or more - of their priests got busted getting too handsy in an "anti-ICE protest".

Are they really "faith leaders"? Or are they the "funky feel good, do what you like because the Bible doesn't really matter" folks?

The cardinal needs to stop preaching lefty doctrine and stick to the good book

According to the Shitcago diocese, Das Kapital is the "good book", apparently...

ASSuming that the dude isn't an Antifoid in costume and taking it at face value, what is the context? Did the clergyman get taken down randomly without provocation, as Reuters wants readers to ASSume? Or, pretty much certainly, did he participate actively in violence?

Hopefully he gets full FAFO.

Looks staged to me. Why would the police let a photographer that close to a detainee?

they may believe in the "nobody is illegal" mantra but a well known fact is nobody is above the law when you interfere with a Law Enforcement operation

"independent journalist" aka wannabe internet influencer on the ground getting arrested too managed to get their phone out for a quick pic?  Your thoughts make more sense though.

This "pastor" is quite the piece of work, based on his website...

Anyone interfering with law-enforcement operations deserves to get some FaceTime with the sidewalk. Not only should they get arrested they should get some bumps and bruises to remember their stupidity. :thatsright:

The pastor, Michael Woolf, pastors a Lake Street Church in Evanston, IL. He has an MDiv and ThD from Harvard. He was ordained by the Lib/Prog American Baptist Church. https://www.lakestreet.org/ministers-and-staff

Is there a non-partisan report of what led to this arrest?
