I think a lot of Republicans won't admit they're voting for Obama

This is a crowd that's used to moving in lock-step, so it must be hard for them to admit it. I'm sure running into them, left and right. One of my co-workers told me that he's a registered Republican and ashamed of it, all excited about Obama. Another Repbulican told me that she will not vote for McCain, because of Palin. She said it proves he has no judgement.
PlanetBev is just $10 away from buying a clue.

1. I think you are right.
I have seen some on the right admit they will not vote for McCain, for various reasons, but Palin "has" caused many to decide not to vote, which really surprised me. Others I am sure will vote for Obama, but will never admit to it. Their "friends" would disown them if they did!

2. I'm wondering if you are not absolutely correct. Even David Brooks
article today was about Palin not being qualified, etc. etc. And I run into people all of the time who say they are very unhappy with the way the Bush administration is handling things.

6. True. While the MSM is all over the Bradley Effect *against* Obama
I think there's a very real segment of the population who will do the opposite. Their wallets don't lie.

7. Something I forgot to add
Two of my other co-workers are Independents, both women. They come into my office frequently to tell me how much they can't stand Palin and are voting Obama.

The most liberal socialist/Marxist Arab/black/white politician in America!
Republicans are lining up to vote for the big-eared buffoon!!

Good moniker, PlanetBev, considering your alien thought process.
:rotf:

The "Republicans for Obama" were all Democrat fakes, DUmbass. Of the few who actually are Republicans for Obama, two of them are ultra-RINOs Leach and Chafee.
-
I am glad I don`t need to make up crap to feel good about things.
What a shallow,pitiful existence.
Oh well,they deserve it. :-)
-
::) I know I can't wait to cast my vote for Hope and Change. In fact, I've got a "HOPE / CHANGE '08" sticker on my car.
You numbnuts! No self-respecting conservative Republican will vote for a Marxist over a genuine war hero. :lmao: Good God, what color is the sky in DUmmyville?
-
They always backtrack back to their PDS very quickly. The Palin nomination hasn't fractured the party in any way, shape or form no matter how much you retards desire it to be so, DUmmies.
-
True. While the MSM is all over the Bradley Effect *against* Obama
When was the MSM "all over the Bradley Effect"??
I've hardly heard it mentioned. It scares the MSM and other democrats to death.
That is the reason behind DUmmy PlanetBev's post, seeking reassurance from other DUmmies.
-
This was the best laugh I have gotten all day! :-)
When I'm alone in the voting booth I'm going to override all common sense and vote for the guy that LEAST represents my interests and the direction I feel the country should go in... Because of Sarah Palin.
Self Delusion doesn't even begin to cover these folks.
Seriously.
The light from reality and normalcy would take a million years to reach DU.

I think that this indicates that they don't even want to try anymore. It's just such an obvious piece of projection that I think even the DUmmies laugh hysterically when they post it. ::)

OOOOHHHH FFS can somebody buy her a clue. She's to stupid to do it herself.

No. Quite the opposite. That is what is making the children at the DUmp put out fables such as these.
I know they wake up in the middle of the night and see VP Palin, soil themselves, then call for mom to change the sheets.
-
They are so afraid and in denial about the Obamessiah dropping like a rock they are telling each other anything to keep from having to face the truth.
You cant buy entertainment this good folks. :lmao:

So, in short this DUmmy thinks that some sort of Anti-Bradly Effect is going to take place ? - This information needs to be brought to the attention of TIA - he can make snazzy looking bar and pie charts about it.

I think a lot of their problem with Palin, other then the fact that she's against murdering innocent babies, is simple jealousy.
The DUmp females all want to look as hot as her and know they never will. The DUmp males all want to hook up with a man like her husband and know they never will.

But.... but..... but.... we've already pre-stolen the election, so what does it matter who they vote for? :mental:
:rotf:
.

perhaps there may have been a small number of deluded republicans flirting with voting for obama during the primaries when the only thing that he was running on was "hope, healing, and unity". it's kinda hard to be against any of that. the current incarnation of The BarackStar! is your standard ultra liberal politician unleashing one sharp socialist attack against his opponent after another.
I doubt that the ranks of deluded republicans are nearly as full these days.

We need to save the sinking ship

As a Republican and strong McCain supporter in 2000, I was disappointed and saddened in 2004 when McCain permanently traded in his maverick credentials and sold out his principles to support George W. Bush. I now find it equally disturbing to see him gamble our security and future with a reckless choice for a running mate.
Gov. Sarah Palin clearly has a bright future in politics. She may even have the depth and diversity of experience to be a vice-presidential candidate four years from now.
The McCain ticket, with all of its newfound “freshness†and despite all of the claims, has quickly devolved into the politics-as-usual that we have come to expect in the last eight years. McCain and Palin quickly emerged from the rhetoric of their convention as the uniters of dividers.
I talk politics with a lot of people from all walks of life. I find it compelling that many of the ordinary Republicans I talk to understand that their families cannot afford another four years like the last eight. We all deserve better.

The Wall Street Journal Picked it up too. About Half way down the page http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122149777671437025.html?mod=Best+of+the+Web+Today
But the paper appends a tagline that rather undercuts Tarsa's claim to speak "as a Republican": "Tarsa is chairman of the Lebanon County Democratic Committee." Apparently party lines run right through Christopher Tarsa.

Everyday in the local small town paper here is an obviously boiler room letter.
They are as phony as all get out following the same pattern of hitting a certain number of talking points with an air of intellectual smugness.
A true LTTE from a DUmmy is just as their posts are....a rambling affair with no linear thought between the screams.

Prominent Clinton backer and DNC member to endorse McCain
Posted: 10:07 PM ET
From CNN Political Editor Mark Preston
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.
The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,†the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential nominee.
Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic senator’s failed presidential bid.
In an interview with CNN this summer, Forester did not hide her distaste for eventual Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
This dovetails nicely with the Siena College poll that came out earlier this week, showing an 18-point lead that the Barackstar! had in NY in June now being a 5-point lead.

Sebelius: Obama’s race ‘may be a factor’
By John Deeth 9/16/08 8:31 PM
IOWA CITY — Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius publicly considered the possibility that Sen. Barack Obama’s race might be a factor in this year’s presidential election during an appearance here Tuesday.
“Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American?†Sebelius asked in response to a question about why the election is so close. “That may be a factor. All the code language, all that doesn’t show up in the polls. And that may be a factor for some people.â€
The remark, delivered in the governor’s low key, folksy, out-from-behind-the-podium style, raised a couple chuckles but few eyebrows in the downtown Iowa City crowd, but Republicans took offense and responded in short order.
“Governor Sebelius’s remarks in Iowa City today are hurtful and divisive at best,†said Republican Party of Iowa Executive Director Caleb Hunter in a press release. “With less than 50 days to go, Democrats will continue to try and change the focus away from the issues that will decide this election.â€
The rest of Sebelius’ remarks in Iowa City stuck closely to the Obama campaign’s talking points.
