So, I had a confrontation with a ****ing MAGAt today
So, I had a confrontation with a ****ing MAGAt today
I wanted to wait on this so the positivity of today could take front and center.
Scenario: In a store buying some house maintenance items. Owner, the ****ing MAGAt, is ringing me up, what follows is after some banal conversation.
FM: You know it’s still hurricane season?
Me: Yep, until November 30th. Side note, I’ve been teaching meteorology to pilots for a quarter century; FM didn’t know that.
FM: You know the government controls hurricanes?
Me: That’s utter bullshit, I teach meteorology for a living. Why do smart people fall for such nonsense?
FM: (Shocked at being confronted): You probably don’t believe that that the Lord is coming back.
Me: You’re free to believe anything you want, but I believe you just lost a $1000 a year customer.
FM stammers as I walk out the door with my purchases never to return.
Epilogue: between losing customers like me and tariffs, I’m pretty sure this business will be long gone by next year.

Never happened you POS 🙄

Nope. Never happened. It's the Airport Prostitute trying to make itself feel important while its knees heal. This part of the fabrication did stick out to me though...

Was the Airport Prostitute at DU back when the DUmbAsses were swearing the Bush and the VRWC had a hurricane machine?

I might know of a few people into that sort of CT, but whether they voted for Trump or think Trump controls hurricanes, I can't guess. Probably there are CT devotees on both sides of that question.

The only place this happened was in this DUchebag's drug riddled brain.

They're just looking for DU street cred and over doing it.....I hope.

You're probably right. Miserable people

Found it a touch odd that a primitive of prominence (one of the late Coach Frank's favorite terms) would add such a distinction to their resume and didn't remember it in my fertile brain.
Lo and behold, Aviation Pro has only mentioned anything about his vast knowledge of meteorology once...17 years ago:
How common are killer tornadoes in january like last night's in Tennessee?

We all know what the question is really about.

...but they can happen. Basically what you have is a weather pattern that is similar to a typical Spring clashing of airmasses. In this case a deep low in the Northeast and the converging outflow boundary from another low to the west of Tennessee caused some enormous twisting in the squall line ahead of the cold front to the north. This twisting atmosphere, the confluence of three airmasses in a mid-latitude cyclonic storm and orographic lifting in Tennessee's rugged terrain triggers the tornadic activity. Here's the surface analysis chart which shows these features:
On edit: the pertubations, the bowing in the north-south cold front, takes on the same characteristics of a dryline, which is much more common to tornadic activity.

Now we all know that DUmmies like to brag about their qualifications but a blowhard such as Flying DUnce would have been bragging about that in every other thread at the DUmp.
You're completely full of shit about your vast experience in meteorology, Amelia Err-hardt. And this conversation absolutely never happened. Negative three bongs.
Finally and additionally, how many hurricanes have made landfall in the United States this season? Zero point zero. Is that "climate change" or glow-bull warming? Or is the lack of hurricanes a strong indicator that man-made "climate change" is real? Maybe President Trump or former VP Dick Cheney steered the VRWC weather machine away this hurricane season.
Inquiring minds would like to hear from you Douglas "Wrong Way" Corrigan.

Great find, and you're correct. It would have mentioned its expertise in meteorology repeatedly. Apparently, unlike George Costanza from Seinfeld who ALWAYS wanted to pretend to be an architect, the Airport Prostitute only recently decided that it wanted to pretend to be a meteorologist.
