I take the blame for something I said that hurt another DUer...please read
Let's not go over my mistake from several months ago. The short version is that JMCKUSICK (John) was having a fundraiser. Some DUers misunderstood what I said. That kept them from donating to John. He is disabled and waiting on an appeal to Social Security. That takes time. John has shared his location, the hospital he has been in, his doctor's name, etc. Not the mark of a scammer. And no troll has come out to say anything he has said is false.
John is in depending on us to keep a roof over his head. He is even willing to sign off on a loan for when he gets his back benefits.

Under the conditions of a Trump economy, it is much harder to get help of this kind from the outside world.

In the real world, food and shelter assistance is readily available. The "problem" to DU-grade Progs with many such sources is that they are run by eeeek! Christians.
More seriously, JMCKUSICK would do well, if he hasn't already, to get in contact with his local Congress-Critter. They often are able to get past the people unable to assist to the persons who can. BTDTGTTS, several times, though for different reasons.

Wow, one scammer stopping the gulible from donating to another scammer. Guess he didn't want someone to tresspass on his corner so they won't donate to him.
