Rock Legend Obsessed With Trump Is Calling for His Impeachment Again

Quote
Rock legend Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, who is obsessed with President Donald Trump, it seems, once again called for the commander-in-chief to be impeached. Once upon a time, rock and roll was about rebellion, thinking for yourself, and "sticking it to the Man."

These days, rock musicians are The Man. And sadly, the vast majority of them can't see their own hypocrisy. Voices of a generation that once encouraged listeners to blaze their own trails are demanding that everyone fall in line and march lockstep along the path of radical leftism.
...
The Boss sat down for an interview with Time, where he shared his belief that Democrats need to impeach Trump. Again. A move that will, no doubt, fail for a third time.

“He’s the living personification of what he 25th Amendment and impeachment were for. If Congress had any guts, he’d be consigned to the trash heap of history,” the "Born in the U.S.A." singer told the publication.

Big Bad Bruce is POed that normal people again voted into the WH someone he hates.  :loser:

I realize that my tastes are not anywhere close to universal, but Springsteen is not, to me, a "Rock Legend". In the time frame when he was becoming famous, I was into Jesus Music and Jazz and Jazz Fusion, so he was a trend I missed (but don't really miss).

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested Superintendent of Des Moines, Iowa Schools Ian Andre Roberts, an illegal migrant from Guyana. Immigration officials issued Roberts a deportation order in May 2024.

Des Moines School Board Director Jackie Norris announced Friday morning that Associate Superintendent Matt Smith will step in as interim superintendent.

"This action follows Dr. Ian Roberts being detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents this morning. We have no confirmed information as to why Dr. Roberts is being detained or the next potential steps," the press release said.

During a targeted enforcement operation on Sept. 26, 2025, officers approached Roberts in his vehicle after identifying himself, but he sped away. Officers later discovered his vehicle abandoned near a wooded area. State Patrol assisted in locating the subject and he was taken into ICE custody.

Roberts has existing weapon possession charges from February 5, 2020. Roberts entered the United States in 1999 on a student visa and was given a final order of removal by an immigration judge in May of 2024.

The investigation into how Roberts acquired the handgun is being turned over to the ATF. It is a violation of federal law for those in the U.S. without legal status to possess a firearm and ammunition.

I posted about this story in yesterday's thread. But here's some additional info:

Crowd protests in downtown Des Moines after DMPS Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts was detained by ICE

People told KCCI they showed up for Dr. Roberts, as well as for others who have been detained by ICE in the past.

DES MOINES, Iowa —
A large crowd of people came together in downtown Des Moines Friday after calling for Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts to be released.

Des Moines Public Schools confirmed Friday afternoon that Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts was detained by ICE. At that time, DMPS said it had not confirmed any information as to why Roberts is being detained.  (HE IS IN THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY!!!)

Quickly following news of his detainment, an emergency protest was called for on social media and organized to be outside the Neal Smith Federal building downtown.

People started showing up at 4 p.m. What started as a crowd with dozens of people quickly grew to a crowd of easily more than 200 people.

Many people held signs denouncing ICE, as well as signs with statements showing their support for Roberts and for him to be set free. Children and adults showed up, and teachers took part, both from Des Moines Public Schools and some school districts in the surrounding communities.

"I think it's the connection that he has with kids in schools that people have seen," said Jane Robinette. "That I think just speaks to the way he approaches his job."

The support didn't just stop on the sidewalk. People who were driving by honked their car horns in support as they passed by.

People told KCCI they showed up for Roberts, as well as for others who have been detained by ICE in the past.

"I think it's important for people to know that the general public — I think — is not OK with what's happening," said Mary Pat LaMair.

And then there's this nugget:

~ snipped details already posted ~

DHS says Roberts was in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a fixed-blade hunting knife.

“This suspect was arrested in possession of a loaded weapon in a vehicle provided by Des Moines Public Schools after fleeing federal law enforcement,” said ICE ERO St. Paul Field Office Director Sam Olson. “This should be a wake-up call for our communities to the great work that our officers are doing every day to remove public safety threats. How this illegal alien was hired without work authorization, a final order of removal, and a prior weapons charge is beyond comprehension and should alarm the parents of that school district.”

It is illegal for someone without legal immigration status to possess a firearm and ammunition, DHS says.

Through a news release, Des Moines Public Schools leaders provided more information about Roberts, his arrest, and what the district knew prior to Friday.

The district says Roberts underwent a comprehensive background check by Baker-Eubanks before taking over in 2023. During the hiring process, Roberts made the board aware of a firearm charge related to a hunting rifle, and provided "sufficient context and explanation" to move forward.

Roberts was licensed by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, according to the district.

However, the district says it did not have any knowledge that an immigration judge issued a final order of removal to Roberts in May 2024, which ICE claimed in a news release. The district also says it has a policy against weapons in school grounds or at school-related activities. DHS officials claim a gun was found in Roberts' vehicle, a vehicle that was provided to him by the district.

The board will have a special session Saturday to discuss the matter in closed session.

Nice due diligence, DSM public schools.  :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

Note, the chair of the Des Moines school board is none other than Jackie Norris, who was Mooooochelle Obama's chief of staff. Additionally, she is running (as a Democrat, as if that's a shocker) to fill Senator Joni Ernst's U.S. Senate seat in 2026.

This illegal alien was chosen based on melanin level, pure and simple. It makes the bleeding heart libs in Des Moines (of which there are MANY) feel better to have a black man (illegal or not) running their public schools.

The guy was illegally in the US by over-staying his student visa. Was the "comprehensive background check" less than comprehensive? Or was he hired knowing his illegal status? That the order of removal was issued in May 2024 suggests that the case was in the works in 2023 or even 2022. Did the district really not know of the proceeding?

Money donated to build Obama library being sent on to politically charged Tides group

Quote
Barack Obama’s long-promised presidential library is shaping up to be just as corrupt as his administration. You probably haven’t heard much about this in the media, but recent tax filings reveal that money donated to the Obama Foundation—supposedly earmarked for his sprawling “presidential center” in Chicago—is quietly being redirected to one of the left’s most notorious dark money groups: the Tides Foundation.

The numbers tell the story. In 2022 and 2023, the Obama Foundation handed over $2 million to Tides, a group best known for serving as a clearinghouse for radical left-wing causes and for shielding donor identities. It should come as no surprise that George Soros heavily backs Tides, and Tides is directly tied to groups organizing anti-Israel protests. That includes demonstrations against the Jewish state in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 Hamas atrocities. In other words, donations made in the name of funding a presidential library are now helping bankroll organizations promoting antisemitic activism under the guise of social justice.

How is this not money laundering? Also, not misappropriation of designated donation $$?

From https://pjmedia.com/catherinesalgado/2025/09/27/former-michelle-o-chief-of-staff-hired-illegal-alien-superintendent-n4944197 :

One of the big news stories yesterday was the arrest of the Des Moines, Iowa, superintendent who was overseeing the state’s largest school system, and drawing a substantial taxpayer-funded salary, even though a deportation order was out for him, and he is in the country illegally. Guess who hired him?

Turns out the chair of the Des Moines school board Jackie Norris, who recently launched her campaign for United States Senate, is a former chief of staff for Michelle Obama. And she thought it would be a fabulous idea to have an illegal alien take a taxpayer-funded job and have the power to influence tens of thousands of children’s education.

 :thatsright:  :thatsright:  :thatsright:

Somebody got an unpleasant surprise last Election Day, and it got even worse when Trump started going after illegals. I hear Guyana is beautiful, especially this time of the year (though they do have a neighbor problem).
