I think this guy is DU's new MVD. I don't know how many of these he's done at this point, but there have been several.

I'm sorry that I have to keep asking you all for help,
September is fast approaching and so I am posting my GoFundMe link again and humbly asking for your donation or loan. (DUmail me please if you would like to discuss a loan.)

Just as a reminder, I am in the midst of waiting for SSDI to wind its way through to determining me disabled, and that process is a torture of sorts that I've never before experienced. We as applicants don't seem to exist except on paper, as there is zero seeming concern as to the time it takes, God forbid any concern as to our conditions worsening unless it is a short term terminal diagnosis. In other words, if we expect you to die soon, we will expedite your application. However, if this is more chronic and worsening over extended time, your economic condition means noting and we will take our sweet time. (2 years at the end of this month and counting,) I have filled out and submitted paperwork to Senator Durbins' office to see if they can help expedite the process. I haven't heard back yet.
My expenses including rent, utilities, phone, internet etc... add up to about $1200 per month. I have made it a point not to ask for any donations once the following month has been taken care of as I am painfully aware of how much these requests suck to read and suck to write.
Updating you on my heart and back, my heart seems fine, I don't have any symptoms with my heart or lungs, my next appt. with my heart Dr. is at the end of this month. As for my back, it is as bad as it has been pain wise. I have just started PT again, which Medicaid is requiring for 6 weeks before they will approve a new MRI. I am having to lay down multiple times a day to relieve the pain that most activities only exacerbate.
While there isn't much positive within this post, please let me close with a healthy dose:
You have, with your generosity, allowed me to stay under this wonderful roof that is my home for eight months that I couldn't have otherwise have managed. You have allowed me to stay connected to you, to have a phone to use, and to keep reasonably warm this winter, and cool this summer. I have been able to cook meals, to keep milk cold, frozen food frozen, and canned food safe because of you.
You have, with your generosity, have allowed my clothes to stay clean, Petunia and Cuddles to stay fed and healthy, and most importantly to my mental health, given me a platform with which to be grateful, positive, and I dare say inspired every morning for sure, and other times of day as well.
You are my family, as the support you have shown in so many ways, has exceeded any that my blood family has offered in my entire lifetime.
Thank you, my wonderful DU family for all the support you continue to offer. That I am in such a decent spiritual place is due in no small part to you, an emotional rock, not just to me, but to so many.
Love, John
It's because your family actually knows you. That one statement above points to you being 99% BS on needing disability. I have an uncle that tried for over a decade to get disability. He wasn't, and isn't, disabled. He did everything but try to find a job until finally his wife got tired of his bullshit and told him to get a job or she was leaving. He got a job ... just until he could get on SS, of which he draws VERY little. He moved them into an assisted living facility as fast as he could because he could get it cheap. She deserves better than that. Oh, and he claims Indian ancestry (feather not dot) and our family has none! Wears a ball cap that says "Proud Native American." What a joke.

Isn't it wild when people who basically qualify as complete strangers are willing to help a person more than their own flesh and blood?
'Thicker than water' my ass.
Because they know he's a leech.

In late 1999, I found my brother after almost 20 years apart. I cry telling this because we used to be very close when I lived with my father between foster homes and group homes. We met a couple of times and would talk about our differences as he was very rigidly religious and very strict as a parent and I was more rebellious and questioning of authority etc...
Into the summer of 2000, every time I would call him, he would answer with a hello and some version of "Hey, I was just thinking about you" all the while never receiving a single call initiated by him. Apparently, he was terrified that I was a bad influence on his kids and would lead them into temptation and rebellion.
Here we are 25 years later, and he still refuses to speak to me even though his kids are in their late 20's and early 30's.
To condemn a sibling to 25 years of familial purgatory if you will, after 20 years of separation reminds me that family is based on the foundation of love and if that isn't there, then there really isn't one, no matter a shared name or lineage.
Because the brother knows you're a leech. And what is up with so many of them claiming to be some kind of 'rebel' that sees society for what it REALLY is?
Just another beggar doing what the beggars do. MVD 2.0

So strapped for cash it is resorting to begging and claiming SSDI, my recommendation is to get rid of the internet, cell phone and two pets to start.

LPC hasn't seen all the DUmp flies who have abandoned their family over politics, have they?

So, JMCKUSICK would be "close" during uncommon/rare occasions when, as children, they were actually together. Somehow, in the apparent chaos that was their lives, they did not see each other for 20 years (I'm guessing, as JMCKUSICK gave no details about what led to that 20 years' separation). When they finally did reconnect, they had very different lifestyles, and the brother had a wife and children (JMCKUSICK does not mention having wife/children, so  ). Despite having almost no relationship for 30 or 35 years, having very different lifestyles, and having totally different life philosophies, JMCKUSICK is whining that his brother has showed no blood-loyalty?
What relevant lifestyle and life-choice differences did JMCKUSICK in his bio- :bouncy: ? Criminal record? Recreational chemicals, legal and illegal? Multiple shack-ups, female and/or male? Some or all of the above?
Why do I suspect that "very rigidly religious" means his brother practices what he preaches - regular in church fellowship, serves or is a leader in his church, raised his children in his beliefs, and more - too faithfully for JMCKUSICK to rail at him for hypocrisy?

I will send you one double edged razor blade and instructions.

They really should learn that whole "blood is thicker than water" quote. It would surprise them and they'd probably stop using it.
-
I suspect, that along with DUs well known reputation for being the land of fruits and nuts, is another aspect of their reputation: that they are sooo gullible.
I wonder how much money they've sent to people.who joined DU with a grift in mind.

A day later and he's already bumping his beggar thread. I guess the DUmmies are all broke due to Trump tariffs and not donating as much as they should.
i checked his GFM. He's been at it for 8 months and made $9,840.

$1,230/month isn't bad side scratch. I'd take it. It's tax free I'm assuming.

I think you only get a 1099 if it exceeds $20K.
