The BEST way to force compliance from local officials who refuse to cooperate with ICE is simply to threaten to terminate their political grifting careers. Watch just how FAST and EFFECTIVE such a threat was in Florida when Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, after steadfastly refusing to cooperate with ICE, almost instantly changed his mind when faced with the threat of his removal from office. These officials will do anything to keep their grift going as you can see.
