2. This decision was preceded by a large number of the negotiated trade agreements that were the purpose of Trump's tariffs, so even this temporary court victory against US interests was bypassed by reality.

One would think that if Trump's position was as weak as it is being portrayed, all of the countries striking trade deals would have held off until the cases had resolved in their favor.
