Melania Trump 'Very Involved' In Epstein Scandal: Author

The First Lady has largely avoided the hot topic, but Trump biographer Michael Wolff suggests that she’s acting behind the scenes.
Longtime Trump biographer Michael Wolff says that First Lady Melania could be the missing link in President Donald Trump’s ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Wolff told Daily Beast Podcast host Joanna Coles that Melania was “very involved” in Epstein’s social circle and noted that this is how she met Trump.
“She’s introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She’s introduced to Trump that way. Epstein [knew] her well,” Wolff said.
Trump and the future first lady reportedly first met in September 1998 through Paolo Zampolli, the founder of ID Models, who helped Melania emigrate to the United States. Zampolli had ties to Epstein and his now-incarcerated partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, Politico reported. In explosive tapes recorded by Wolff, Epstein alleged that Trump liked to “f---” his friends’ wives and first slept with Melania on his “Lolita Express.”
Since March 2025, Zampolli has served as Trump’s special representative for global partnerships. The MAGA loyalist has a giant oil painting of Trump in his $17 million Georgetown mansion. “Where does [Melania] fit into the Epstein story? Where does she fit into this, into this whole culture of models of indeterminate age?” Wolff said. “So this is another complicated dimension in this.”

The Daily Beast apologized and retracted an article alleging that deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced then-Melania Knauss to her future husband, Donald Trump.
The article included claims made by author Michael Wolff on "The Daily Beast Podcast" on Saturday that Melania was "very involved" in Trump's "relationship" with Epstein, The New York Post reported.
"She's introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She's introduced to Trump that way," Wolff alleged. "Epstein knows her well."

“After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article,” the editor’s note reads.
“After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding,” the note added.
In Melania's 2024 memoir, she explained that she met Trump at a September 1998 Fashion Week party at the Kit Kat Klub in New York City.
Where anybody-Trump is concerned, DU's confirmation bias blinds them to common sense. Common sense such as cautiously considering sources' biases, e.g. TDB's and Wolff's Hate-Trump Bias. :rotf: :tongue:
