History has already demonstrated that. We have new authoritarians using the same old playbook and sadly it still works because too many people are poorly educated or they know and just want to be cruel and hateful.

Oh geez. The rise of the people you and your Democratic Party cohorts call "authoritarians" wasn't caused by lack of education, or cruelty, or some playbook. It was caused by the failure of their predecessors to govern properly.

Seems they weren't too effective. Maybe they were part of the reason we were dropping fp-45 liberator pistols to the resistance.

I can think of at least 5 centuries of reasons I would not look to EuroLand as an unquestioned source of political wisdom.
