Forget President Trump being just millimeters away from being killed. Forget about Corey Comperatore who actually was killed. Forget about the ones who were wounded. Scott MacFarlane of CBS News is the most vocal victim, at least in his own mind, of the Butler shooting. See, Poor Scott is now suffering from PTSD he got at Butler. Not from the shooting itself but because he thought the crowd was nasty towards him. Lack of politeness forced Scott to take trauma leave. Awwww! We must now all grieve in sympathy for a terrified snowflake who got his feelings hurt.

Ten years of Dem-shill MSM demonizing Trump had a predictable consequence, Scott MacFarlane! :ownit:

Anytime I hear the acronym "PTSD", it reminds me of this:

I'm so old that I remember when "PTSD" was the new term for what had been called "Shell Shock", i.e. the mental consequences of lengthy combat stress. Now it seems to include annoyance at some neighbor's yappy poohuahua.

As the genius that George was, he derided the softening of language to make it more palatable. An example: There are no more homeless people anymore; people are "experiencing homelessness".
-
I read an article about him crying today at lunch. I didn't feel any sympathy whatsoever for him. Maybe I'm just rude, but my first thought was that if he'd spent his time being a reporter instead of a demonrat propagandist he probably wouldn't have had to worry so much about the crowd.

"Homeless" was the Dems' and their MSM-Shills' Blame-Reagan euphemism for those long called "bums" or "vagabonds" or "hobos".

Are Media Folks Literally Insane?
https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/07/17/are-media-folks-literally-insane-n3804874 (https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/07/17/are-media-folks-literally-insane-n3804874)
But one thing I admit I have never considered is that one reason (the MSM) do this is that they are insane. Several cards short of a full deck. Psychotic. Crazy. Around the bend.
Pick your term, but maybe these people aren't just politically-motivated self-dealers. At least some of them are nutso. They live in a world where malevolent Americans are roving the hinterlands, throwing bleach and nooses on black actors while screaming "This is MAGA country!"
CBS News Capitol Hill correspondent Scott MacFarlane told podcaster Chuck Todd on Wednesday about how traumatized he was by Trump rallygoers blaming the media for the assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in 2024.
...
"For those of us there, it was such a horror because you saw an emerging America," MacFarlane told Todd on his podcast. "And it wasn't the shooting, Chuck. This was – I got diagnosed with PTSD within 48 hours. I got put on trauma leave, not because, I think, of the shooting, but because you saw it in the eyes, the reaction of the people."
"They were coming for us," he said in the clip flagged by The Daily Caller. "If [Trump] didn't jump up with his fist, they were going to come kill us!"
CBS News Capitol Hill correspondent Scott MacFarlane told podcaster Chuck Todd about his ongoing trauma from seeing the crowd's rage on the day of the Trump rally shooting. ("The Chuck ToddCast")
"I know," Todd agreed.
Later in the discussion, MacFarlane added that, "Many of us on press row, as we talked about this on our text chains for weeks after, were quite confident we'd be dead if he didn't get back up."
The Daily Caller article about this, https://dailycaller.com/2025/07/16/they-were-going-to-kill-us-reporter-claims-he-got-ptsd-after-trump-shooting-because-crowd-blamed-media/ .
If MSM folk really were afraid of the people they'd been ludicrously denigrating as racists and Nazis, MSM folk need to do some deep self-reflection. Not that I believe they're capable of setting aside their arrogant self-righteousness to do this.

I can't remember. Sorry. It was either from Fox News' website or from an article someone linked to on Facebook.

The legacy media brought it onto themselves. :sosad: They have themselves to blame solely. No one else.
:ownit:

The only person that gave Scott MacFarlane PTSD was Scott MacFarlane.
-
True, but the realization that EVERYone there rejected them was at least disconcerting. And deserved.
