No wonder Trump keeps winning!
CBS and Paramount settles lawsuit with awarding Trump millions.
He is not a president, he’s an exorcist. He sues everyone and to save those who are being sued, they settle just to save them from ruined by Trump & his goons at the DOJ.
Can you imagine if Biden, Obama, the Bushes or any other president anyone does this like Trump does? I can’t imagine the backlash from the American people? And the GOBers just stamped their approval by saying or doing nothing to stop this.
I hope one day that a convicted felon goes to jail and not into the presidency so that this nonsense stops!

Yes. This is how he rolls. Lawsuit threats and lawsuit reality. And of course now that he has the power to arrest he is threatening with that.
Keith Oblermann's latest pod cast "TRUMP'S RUNNING A PROTECTION RACKET PRESIDENCY" is, as usual, spot on.
The media is given broad leeway in claims of defamation. Public figures - especially politicians - have an even higher threshold to clear in claiming damages.
If these corporations are settling, it's because they knew they screwed-up - BAD!

Funny how they get all butt hurt about Donaldus Magnus busting the DNC propaganda arm for abusing their license to broadcast on the public airwaves, but were completely "oblivious" to #SpongeBrainShitPants using the CHOTUS (Crack Head of the United States) to shake down ambassadors and lobbyists alike in their little Pay for Play scheme...

The First Amendment doesn't protect slander, libel, and defamation? Nor illegal in-kind campaign contributions? Not even by "the press"? Not even when the target is Bogey-Trump? Who'd athunk it?

I have to say, I am disappointed that he let them off this easy. I know, I know... I don't know the inner workings of the law or this case, and details matter. I guess I'm just disappointed that he couldn't push them to the verge of bankruptcy. It needs to be so brutally consequential that the rest of these asshats will be scared to every try this crap again. Media is the driving factor in this political poison peddling that is a scourge on our society.

He sues everyone
gavin newsom has entered the chat....

It’s a Catch-22. If he doesn’t sue, the anti-Trumpers claim that what’s alleged about him must be true. If he sues, they say he’s “extortionist”.

Basically, it's they lie if he does fight for the truth, and lie if he doesn't fight for the truth.

If one has to invoke Keith Oberdork to prove their point they've already lost the argument.

A bit more info about this case:
New Insight on Why Paramount Settled Trump's Lawsuit
https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2025/08/19/new-insight-on-why-paramount-settled-trumps-lawsuit-n3805959 (https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2025/08/19/new-insight-on-why-paramount-settled-trumps-lawsuit-n3805959)
On Monday, Oct. 7, “60 Minutes” ran an interview with the Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris. On a question about Israel, the show used a different portion of her answer from the one that was seen in an interview excerpt that ran the day before on “Face the Nation.”
Mr. Trump seized on the discrepancy, arguing that “60 Minutes” had “doctored” her “word salad” of an answer to make her look better and hurt his election chances. He demanded that CBS release the full unedited tape of her interview. “We can do it the nice way or the hard way,” he warned on Truth Social.
Even though Mr. Cheeks saw no reason not to, CBS News executives refused to release the unedited footage1.. It proved a fateful decision. Mr. Trump pursued what he called the “hard way.” On Nov. 1, he sued CBS in federal court in Amarillo, Texas ...
This became a big issue because the sale of Paramount Global had to be approved by Trump's FCC. Shari Redstone wanted to settle to make sure the issue didn't cloud the sale. But there was pressure from progressives not to settle and not to give any kind of win to the Trump administration. Why settle a case that some lawyers considered weak to start with? It turns out there was something else Redstone and CBS was worried about. If the lawsuit had proceeded, discovery may have led Trump's lawyers to look into other, similar interviews including one they did with Joe Biden.
The Redstones also worried that Mr. Trump’s lawyers could cherry-pick raw footage and internal communications and do more damage to CBS News’s reputation than any settlement would. Ms. Redstone said CBS personnel had told her that in October 2023, when Scott Pelley of “60 Minutes” interviewed President Joseph R. Biden Jr., the president had seemed drowsy and had to be prodded to answer. She and Tyler worried that CBS might be accused of editing the interview to conceal Mr. Biden’s failings.
In other words, CBS had more to worry about than just the editing of the Harris interview. Settling the case was for the best. ...
IOW, Paramount's hidden motive was that discovery would lead further revelations of in-kind campaign-contribution-editing by CBS - further reputation damage and further legal-financial risk.

I seem to remember all the DUmmies cheering for Biden's DOJ to bankrupt: Steve Bannon, Carter Page, Roger Stone ... the list is long, but I definitely saw posts on their site calling for, and cheering for, these guys to go bankrupt defending themselves.

If this were just a normal, sane person, I'd automatically assume that the person misspoke (mistyped) and meant "extortionist"; however, this is a member of the group who has repeatedly declared themselves the mostest smartest individuals in the universe so I have to assume that it meant what it said and really thinks that Orange Man Bad is an exorcist. Even as a fictional spirit-guide, that part of the supernatural is not really area of expertise so I contacted Blackie the Ghost Chicken. This is what Blackie had to say...
Just because Trump causes the demonic individuals on the left, such as the minions at DU and even the media and celebs, to scream and holler and wave their arms around showing their long underarm hair does not make Trump an exorcist. On the otherhand, if he were to figure some way to cast the DUers out of DU THEN he would be closer to fitting the title.
