The guy with an AR-15 at the NoKings event in Salt Lake was legally open-carrying his rifle. Volunteer “peacekeepers” who engaged him, shooting an unrelated bystander, said he was pointing the rifle into the crowd. Video now shows that is not the case.
Guys with guns saw a guy with a gun and then shot at him, killing a random stranger. Somehow this makes us safer.
Love how they leave out that the guy they were shooting at, the people doing the shooting AND the guy who was shot, are all their people.

If it is true that the AR-15 user and the other people with guns were all anti-ICE/"ANTIFA", I think I know exactly why they would be carrying guns. Their cohorts and people in the mainstream media have been feeding their fear of "right-wing agitators" causing disruptions at their "peaceful protests".

This is exposing 100% leftist hate and violence. They don’t want to acknowledge the truth, as blatant as it is.

I have been to one protest in my life. It was to show support for the Indian Hills movie Theater in Omaha which was going to be torn down. It was one of 5 Cinerama theaters in the world left and it wasn't in need of demolition except to make room for whatever need the Methodist Hospital wanted it for which it turned out to be a parking lot. Sad thing about it is not long ago they put that parking lot up for sale. anyway no one felt the need to go out and carry weapon and it is obvious why but if you are going to peacefully assemble then you don't have to worry about bad things happening.

Anyone showing up to a peaceful protest, wearing a helmet goggles, carrying a shield and a backpack full of who knows what or in any case a firearm it’s not looking to participate in a peaceful protest. They’re looking to participate in a riot..
They all should be rounded up and arrested their identities made public, and if they’re carrying any fireworks or things like that, they should be prosecuted by the BATF

You'd think that it wouldn't help very much with their arson and could possibly get in the way with their looting.

Trying to piece together what I've read about the SLC shooting that was less than clear:
* The event organizer had paid armed "security" people (licensed? unlicensed? :shrug: ) at the event;
* Some Prog rando dude independently decided MAGA people would be there and would be violent,
* Rando dude took a rifle to the event area and went to a place of concealment near the periphery of the event;
* Rando dude moved from his place of cover, was seen by a "security" person(s);
* "Security" person(s) fired shots more or less at rando dude;
* Rando dude was wounded, and a person who may or may not have been an event participant was hit and killed.
If I'm incorrect, do set me straight, because I'm kind of fuzzy on what went down. It kind of sounds like a little bit of Keystone Kops with real bullets.
