WHAT FRESH HELL?
Does anyone else feel that spasm of existential dread every morning before you turn on the TV or make your first click on the internet in anticipation of the newest horror emanating from the White House? If it weren't so terrifying it would almost be funny.

1. I do
I feel it every morning...and think of my family and friends that think Trump is Lord..and that really makes me ill.
But i firmly believe a recession will snap them out of it... and the market is signaling just that...remember Hoover led to Roosevelt..

5. I had those exact words in my mind when I got up this morning: "What fresh hell"
It's a dreadful feeling, and I wonder what crazy idea he's going to promote to enrich himself.

7. It was like this during Trump I
Usually more comical back then though. I don’t remember how I got through that hellish 4 years.

Suggestion: Stop watching news reports that encourage you to be scared. They like it when you’re scared. It keeps you wetching.

I used to feel that way, but after Trump won, it magically disappeared.

Both times, I assume.

DUmmies thrive on daily outrage.
And their media is happy to provide an ample supply, as long as you don't bother looking for actual fact.
Case in point: Noticing much pearl-clutching and nashing of teeth about $880 billion being cut from Medicaid by ebil Republicans to please ebil Drumph. I don't believe anyone's numbers at this point in time, so I did just a small, scratch of the surface, only to easily find....
Even Newspeak calls baloney sauce (https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-does-republican-budget-cut-medicaid-880-billion-2030326)
The Facts
The budget resolution does not ever explicitly state there will be an $880 billion cut to Medicaid.
House Republicans are enabling the Energy and Commerce Committee to decide what exact programs and areas would be cut under the budget. While the Energy and Commerce Committee oversees Medicaid funding, it also is in charge of energy and climate programs, the Federal Communications Commission, food and drug safety and several more programs.
All the panic is speculation that the only place so much money could possibly be cut is by killing Grandma, Grandpa, and Tiny Tim. Granted, this article is from February, but even this AP article with more up to date specifics (https://apnews.com/article/medicaid-cuts-trump-tax-cuts-bill-1e2b12a91a3d12ceb0420ce7053de58e) reads like common sense limits (no illegals, if you can work, you will be some, some out of pocket expenses), not "get ready to stack up bodies like chords of wood".
But some people don't want to hear any of that. They need their outrage, their offense, their sense of injustice fed to give them reason and energy to roll out of bed to the couch, where they SCREEEEEEE to the tiny fraction of the world that sees their posts from laptops and cell phones as their TVs and those same devices (or maybe extras to keep as much input going at once as possible) feed the rage, until their meds and self medication and Cheetos kick in. Then there's a momentary dopamine hit, caused by them convincing their brain that those posts will eventually change the world, but it only lasts until the next outrage scrolls across whichever screen they are staring at.

They'd be outraged if deprived of their daily outrage(s). :-)
