Prices going up at the grocery store
Tuna sales price this week higher then last weeks regular price. Yogurt price up. And so it goes.
BUT, and this is a big BUT. Don’t blame the president for trumpenomics. He knows some shit. Just ask Leavitt. He knows the art of the deal. **** retailers and their customers then blame someone else loudly and often. Repeat after trump, don’t blame tariffs.
We take 100 bucks of groceries to the local food pantry each month. 100 bucks don’t go as far today as it did yesterday. Multiply example by millions. Less resources to feed those who can’t afford to go to the grocery store. But don’t blame trump, the essence of the deal.
Oh did I tell you, we live in a red state. The local food pantry does a booming business

I guess I have to do this, too. Here is a graph of monthly CPI, urban only, food and beverage, not seasonally adjusted. Note that inflation was significant but relatively stable until the onset of COVID. Then, even after COVID, prices shot up and have stayed up, all on Pedo Pete the Cancer-Hiding Shithead's watch.
Not enough data to say much about Trump 47's watch just yet.

Walmart is obviously price gouging to raise their net profit margin from 2.7% to 2.8%.
