I turned off my A/C, opened all my windows and turned on the fans. It's peaceful, it's mild, it's relaxing. No sunburns, pit stains, and cranky temprament.
I'm in heaven. Sweet, glorious autumn is near!

Maybe for you in AZ...

I didn't get very nice replies at another site as well. :lmao:

Well , the hot season arrived here fairly abruptly a couple weeks ago. It's still a bit under 90F daytime shade temp and the humidity isn't above 60% so I'm trying to hold off on the AC for a couple more weeks.

That's what I think I'm so happy about--my A/C bill going down. It's brutal. I want a small electric bill again!

Storm-weary Florida. The start of fall isn't as bad here, storms aside, as in Ohio, but 18 years of that was enough for me.

Ah, I see. That makes sense. Sorry to rub it in. I'm just so happy to have one night without the A/C running.

We had A/C on for much of today but we will be using less of it now.

Give it a month and the AC for my office will be on 24/7. Until probably April next year.
Glad I finally insulated the roof when i replaced earlier this year, and am looking forward to noticing a difference.

Strange, I never quite pictured you as an office worker! Good luck with the insulation though :cheersmate:
I'm pretty much retired. Make money through investments thus the term "office" fairly loosely ; It's where all my electronic stuff lives, and is small enough to chill down like a fridge during summer. Which reminds me I should get a bar fridge for under the desk.

I would LOVE to be able to turn the A/C off here in Savannah, but the humidity just makes that impossible. I hope it cools off sometime soon. :(
There IS a nice breeze going outside right now, though, so I opened the window.

I agree Jen, the weather has been perfect!
Warm enough to swim during the day and cool enough to sleep at night.

It's been nice here. Low 80's, high 70's during the day, mid to low 60's at night. Maybe I should open a window.

Maybe I should open a window.
But then your neighbors will know you are smoking pot. :-)

Had the ac off for a while here, but then it climbed into the high 80's on Sat and 90's yesterday, so it came back on. Front came through last night, and extended forecast calls for highs in the 70's for the next week, so off it goes again! Yay!
