My son just returned from a 4 day trip to Quebec, Canada.
It was a four day trip, long planned, with some friends from high school. My son was the only one who could speak French, and it was a chance for him to practice as he played the role of translator. He left his car at our house and drove on through NY State to the Canadian border.

It is not clear whether the French Canadians or other Canadians knew that he was from a country ruled by a blithering senile fool, or if they were English speaking Canadians from Ontario or elsewhere in Canada. He said everyone in Canada was wonderful, the cities of Montreal and Quebec City were beautiful. One hopes a criminal thug will not lead to them being bombed.

I only had a very short time to speak with my son, most of which I used to discuss ideas on nuclear reactor design, which I sketched on a napkin that he photographed. I promised to write up the details and discussed some materials science issues, and what his advisor calls "duct tape" for reactors.

We then discussed opportunities to move to Europe after he finishes his Ph.D. We agreed that the trip to Canada and the practice of speaking French was a good idea. As his father I want him to be a part of the brain drain the US will experience. He has worked too hard and too long to have his work squandered. We discussed innovation in nuclear technology in Europe, now that innovation will be killed in the US. If he wants to come back should sanity return here and an effort to rebuild what is about to be destroyed by the orange ignoramus , that would be fine. But for now, he needs to get the hell out of here.

It's possible too, that he could go to Canada after graduating. They have a thriving nuclear industry. If he does, and a war breaks out, I want him on the side of the Canadians. I don't want him to be the equivalent of a German lying and saying in 1946 "I didn't know." He does know.

Trump is Hitler. He's going to Blitzkrieg Canada just like Poland in 1939.

Promoting Nuclear Technology

DOE’s Golden Era plan also includes efforts to launch the “long-awaited American nuclear renaissance” with the goal of leading the world in the “commercialization of affordable and abundant nuclear energy.” Without many specifics, the plan announces that DOE will work to fund nuclear research and development and enable the “rapid deployment and export of next-generation nuclear technology.” The plan further acknowledges the need to modernize nuclear weapons systems and pursue nuclear nonproliferation agreements.

Canuckastan is a nuclear power generation leader....

CANADA: Currently, the country has four operating nuclear power plants housing a total of 19 CANDU reactors , providing approximately 15% of the nation's electricity.

USA: In the United States, nuclear power is provided by 94 commercial reactors with a net capacity of 97 gigawatts, with 63 pressurized water reactors and 31 boiling water reactors. In 2019, they produced a total of 809.41 terawatt-hours of electricity, and by 2024 nuclear energy accounted for 18.6% of the nation's total electric energy generation.

Everything a DUmbass DUche posts or thinks is a lie.

Now nuclear power generation is a good thing to the DUmp monkeys?

I am not sure I can think of a bigger loser than someone who writes a book report on their kid's visit to Canada for a liberal website.

I do find it amusing that liberals are pining for a war against Canada so they can complain about something new. I think if we want Canada, we simply take it, a process that will require about 6 months. We may have to duke the King of England a few shekels, but that is mostly symbolic at this point.

It's a good thing in other countries. Here, we can't have it. Weird, huh?

Handy information to have!  Thanks.

Personally I liked the touch the DUmmie OP put in his post about how he scribbled out some nuclear reactor on a napkin and it was so good his kid took a picture of it ... I guess to put on his refrigerator?

 :lmao:

I often time draw parts of the tanks I work on to show my family.  They take pictures of them to show their friends.  I'm always embarrassed by the coffee rings showing on the napkins, but that's the way of the world these day, right?

Ever since Three Mile Island and that admittedly entertaining flick "The China Syndrome" in the 1970's made leftists despise nuclear energy, they're suddenly realizing that nuclear and natural gas are the cleanest forms of energy.

Michael Douglas cosplaying Jesus. Good show. Not a Chinese guy in the whole damned thing, though.

Hey, it had Jack Lemmon and Wilford Brimley. Douglas and even Hanoi Jane hadn't completely gone to the dark side yet. And she was at least easy on the eyes then (46 years ago).

And to add how many on each aircraft carrier?

I have the feeling that America won't be suffering a "brain drain" if this DUchebag's crotch goblin leaves the country permanently. In fact I believer the country will be better off without another brainwashed DUchebag in it.

I'd expect nothing less than a full 5 point jump in the National IQ average for the kid of a DUmp'Rat.  :fuelfire:

That’s quite a trick, to drive to Canada when his car is at your house. :rotf: :rotf: :lmao:  :lmao:

Maybe you should send that napkin with the reactor plans to the department of energy so they can use it to build some new power plants :rotf:

And I think a few Cruisers as well.

Not any more. Those were decommissioned and scrapped in the 90s. Their reactor cores are presently residing at Hanford, IIRC.
