Don't you see--if we hate something they either think it's great or don't give a shit--the only way to wake these people up is to lie just like McCain does. They don't care if she has a secretive government or is she shoots wolves or puppies for that matter.
But they do care about crap that doesn't belong in the political arena. So just start lying--I heard she wants to take away our guns and boy am I pissed!

16. Went out to lunch today with my husband
We stopped on the way to the restaurant and picked up a National Enquirer. When we got to the restaurant we got the hostess to sit us near the buffet table. Then I pulled out the National Enquirer and made sure the "shocking" headlines were visible to those in the buffet area by draping it over the back of the chair facing the buffet table.
Over the course of an hour, we noticed people cocking their heads to read the headlines while they were filling their plates. We noticed people nudging their companions and pointing to the tabloid. We noticed when they looked upset or when they looked like they were expounding on the headline stories. A couple of times, when the buffet area got a little crowded, we had people strike up conversations with us as they waited for access to their buffet favorite. We had also had three people who stopped by the table just to talk about how bad the McCain-Palin ticket was for our country. Finally we had people who would walk by and make little comments like, "she's so fake" or "why did he/McCain choose her?" or "I'm for Obama". It was fun.
The national enquirer IS FAKE, DUMBASS. How do you people breathe on your own?

Parts of it may have been true. If we'd gone out somewhere and seen someone so obviously display The National Enquirer like that, we'd have nudged each other and looked. Of course, we'd have gone back to our table and laughed all through the meal. If any of this is true, most of those looking probably did the same thing. :-)

Uh, bullshit. Headlines are AT THE HEAD/TOP of the paper. For the headlines to be visible by draping the NE over a chair, THEY WOULD BE UPSIDE DOWN. I really, really doubt people passing by an upside down NE on their way to or from a buffet line are going to give a damn what it says.
