Talk to Reverend Sharpton, all you want - You're ****ED Target. Maybe sell maggat hats??

you should learn how to file for bankruptcy like your Fuhrer.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-raised-record-239-million-031032600.html

(Bloomberg) -- Hyundai Motor America, Nvidia Corp. and Target Corp. made seven-figure donations to fund President Donald Trump’s record-breaking haul for his second inauguration, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission.

In this version of reality, Target speaking to Al Sharpton is a harbinger of its rapid demise, I suppose. (https://www.democraticunderground.com/100220256476)

While I am not a huge fan of Target, with its insistence on jumping on every bandwagon the Zeitgeist sends along, I am a resident of actual reality. In the world I inhabit, Target has had quarterly revenues of at least $20B (that B means 'billions,' DUmmies, not buttplugs or Beyonce tickets), which, again, in the world I live in, is a lot of money. In fact, it's a cornerstone of American retail.

Not quite seeing how they are "****ed," so maybe a lurking DUmmy can help me out.

Now, to be clear, Target does face some headwinds, as their revenue growth has slowed in recent quarters. The faculty at University of DUmp B-school (that means business, DUmmies, not buttplugs...the U of D Buttplug department is on another building) would have you know that the flatness in revenue is certainly due to the 50 or so dyed-in-the-hair liberals who boycott everything. That's interesting and all, since it wasn't that long ago that Target pledged to sell stuff from the 3 to 5 black-owned makers of clothing products.

Those of us in the actual world of facts know that inflation, entrenched competition from Amazon, and interest rates are more than likely the cause of slowed revenue growth.

Guess the boycott will turn into a complete shopping ban. I don’t miss Walmart or Chic Fil A either.

Yes, all three enterprises will miss the $25 you have set aside from your SS check.

I almost pity them their stupidity.

Not sure about Hyundai, but Target and Nvidia (how many DU-Denizens know what Nvidia does without resorting to a search engine?) are doing fine. They won't be affected by DU tantrumming.

As for CfA, they've been thriving since the start of the Prog boycott in 2012. CfA had zero locations in the SF Bay Area in 2012. Now, depending on how the region is defined, there are 20-25, with more being constructed. Progs' boycott of Hobby Lobby has been similarly successful.

The glorious DUmp'Rat Revolution marches forward, Comrade. Soon we will look back on the horrible Drumph days when we only had 100 grams of Victory chocolate per day in our ration allotment and celebrate glutting ourselves on 25 grams per week! [/DUmp'Rat]
