Trump did not want to be elected to be the President.
He wanted to be elected so he could have a license to grift and steal to his heart's content and to escape all legal liability and accountability. He wanted free rein to make deals with all the shady characters in the world and to accumulate as much wealth as he could put his greedy hands upon.
In his mind, he is just playing a role, an act, as the President of the United States. He is not a serious person. He is probably mentally ill. He wants to get all the glory of the office while he plays golf and plays President.
He is a constant threat to our country and to the world. He has alienated all of our allies, including our nearest neighbors. The damage he has caused will not be easily repaired. The American people will suffer greatly from this great political fiasco.

:rotf: kt is ignoring the fact that Trump was President from 2017-2021, and what kt fantasizes did not happen.
:rotf: Trump and Musk are billionaires, wealthy beyond their ability to enjoy their full wealth. kt cannot see beyond Libs/Progs stereotype that wealthy people are moved only by desire to acquire.
