GODDAMMIT! I Just Spent All My Money On...
Liberation Day merchandise. And it wasn't cheap because of the high tariffs on China.
No, with the pause, that holiday means nothing

Did your eyes get a speeding ticket?
Apple has been moving its Airpods and iPhone production from China to India. Should DUpipo celebrate Apple's prices not going up? Or should DUpipo boycott Apple for not sticking with China in defiance of the Bad Orange Man?
Along similar lines, Hoka manufactures in Vietnam and New Balance manufactures in Indonesia (I've checked my shoes of those brands). Celebrate or boycott?
BTW, the :bouncy: is fiction, satire about what the aptly-named lame54 believes will happen.

I was just over there. I noticed there are a lot of threads with 0 replies. Seems so sad and pathetic. They're so adrift.

They're a mere angry echo of those that came before them.
If I didn't despise them as much as I do, I'd pity them.

U.S. consumer prices fall for first time in almost three years
U.S. consumer prices dipped in March, defying predictions that Trump's proposed tariffs would trigger higher inflation. The decline in the Consumer Price Index marks the first monthly drop in nearly three years--and only the second since inflation spiked under former President Biden.
Key Details:
March's 0.1% decline in overall prices came as a surprise to economists, who had expected a 0.1% increase. Core prices--excluding food and energy--rose by just 0.1%, well below the 0.3% that had been forecast.
