A Reason to Vote Against McCain That Even Dumb People Understand: He's a Wimp.
Advertisements [?]This is a theme that dumb people could understand. Americans don't like wimps.
But here we have a desperate, pathetic old man hiding behind a woman 30 years his junior, who's afraid to answer questions from the press. In fact, McCain himself has clammed up when it comes to the press, and even at his own campaign events he's now scared to speak for fear of getting upstaged by his unqualified running mate. McCain's canceled events where he was to speak alone, because he's too much of a wimp to show up without his teddy bear, Sarah Palin.
The Republicans turned Obama's celebrity status against him. The Dems should seize this opportunity to attack McCain's supposed "tough guy" status. He's not tough at all -- he's hiding behind his unqualified running mate, who's a wimp herself.
Don't let the wimps win!

The meltdown continues. :rotf:

Shut the f**k up, Walter! You're way out of your depth here!

Because everyone knows what manly men libs are...well, at least their wymen anyway.
-
I can't believe how stupid they are.
Keep going with the "unqualified" meme -- your Presidential Candidate is the must unqualified candidate in the history of the Union and his runningmate ADMITTED he was not the most qualified.
And calling a man who volunteered to back into the Hanoi Hilton rather than be released out of sequence a "wimp" -- yeah, good idea.

McCain, the former POW who withstood over 5 years of torture and kept his honor while doing so-yeah, that'll go over like a lead balloon. The man who has gone against his own party (to my chagrin, I admit) on issues, and voted against us in Congress. They're not called "DUmmies" for nothing.
-
Yeah, McCain has been so unsettled by his opponent's VP choice that's all he can talk about.
wimp

Like the way he was afraid to answer questions on his own at the Saddleback forum, where the "pathetic" old man blew Barry away? And like the way he refuses to participate in townhall debates-oops, sorry, that was Barry.

You know what else dumb voters understand?
When they're being insulted, taken for granted, held in contempt and ridiculed.

Yet they still think that the "debates" will be the icing on the cake for them.
I can`t wait until Governor Palin suggests that Biden needs to school Obama in foreign policy realities when Obama was advocating an unconditional and immediete pullot from Iraq before the surge was given a chance to succeed.
Obama pushes Iraq pullout
Portsmouth Herald | March 22, 2007
By Shir Haberman
PORTSMOUTH -- Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., refused to bash his leading presidential primary opponents New York Sen. Hillary Clinton and North Carolina Sen. John Edwards " over their vote to go to war in Iraq, despite several attempts to get him to do so during a teleconference with New Hampshire reporters Wednesday.
"I prefer to think of it as an affirmative reflection about how I approach these kinds of problems and how I might handle future conflicts," Obama said when asked about his 2002 speech opposing U.S. intervention in Iraq made while he was still an Illinois state legislator. "Voters can draw some conclusions about our respective manners in how we sifted through the case the (Bush) administration offered."
Calls aimed at getting responses from both the Clinton and Edwards campaigns were not returned.
The Illinois senator was asked why he submitted legislation last week to begin the pullback of U.S. troops from Iraq beginning on May 1, 2007, with a completion date of March 2008, when he had voted in opposition to a pullout bill in 2006. Obama responded that the 2006 bill came on the heels of popular elections in Iraq that created a new government and that he wanted to send that government a message of U.S. support.
However, since that time things have changed, he said.
"The Iraqi government has not used that time (since the 2006 legislation was defeated) to try to bring the parties together, but has used it to dig in to their sectarian agendas," Obama said.
As to what would happen once the U.S. troops pull back, Obama had no answer "" only hopes.
"I don't think anyone can answer that question," he said. "I would hope we would work internally (inside Iraq) and with other members of the international community to solve the problems there."
Obama claimed without a withdrawal deadline there is no incentive for Iraqis or the international community to take action.
"None of this will happen while we are engaged in an open-ended occupation," he said.
Obama's bill is not aimed at pulling all U.S. troops out of harm's way, however. It would keep some troops in the region to prevent a wider war, and to go after al-Qaida and other terrorists. Just how many troops would remain in the region would have to be worked out, he said.
"We have to have some sort of over-the-horizon force in the region, but the number has to be determined based on a broader strategy," he said, noting that the war in Afghanistan is not over. http://www.barackobama.com/2007/03/22/obama_pushes_iraq_pullout.php
I will take Sarah Palins foreign policy advice any day over this.

Says the guy that wants unconditional, open-ended dialogue with a fascist nuclear Iran.
I stand by my sig.

And who's hiding behind skirts?

If the OP understands it, because I sure as hell don't, I guess the DUmmy is right.

That's why these debates are the only format to which Barry will agree-he knows he'll have help and moral support from the "unbiased" liberal media moderators.

Yes, PLEASE run with that!! Oh please, oh please, oh please. :-)
Oh Yes, Please.........and BTW, here's a pair of scissors.

Hi5. It's wonder those people are allowed near sharp objects.

The only mistake I think McCain has made in the general so far is not to make an issue out of the debates. Obama shouldn't have been alowed to only agree to situations where he was comfortable, it could have been a good issue to catch him on.
They keep talking about Palin, and she has handled there attacks with ease while firing right back at them. If your enemy is going to use up all of his ammo on a secondary target, you just stand out of his way.

I third this motion-PLEASE let the DUmmies get someone in the Obama campaign to take up their suggestion for ads calling McCain a wimp and questioning his courage-the ONE quality virtually every sane American on either side must agree that he has in spades! (oops, I said "spades"-I'm a bad, bad racist now, LOL!) I just WISH that the 'rat Party leaders took the DUmmies as seriously as the DUmmies fantasize that they do! The whole of America would back away in disgust and disbelief if they thought that the DUmmies were representative of the Left. In fact, I wish we could find a way to broadcast far and wide the DUmp and tie it to the 'rats as what they stand for-the 'rat party would be FINISHED.

The VP is supposed to be a lightening rod (remember Agnew?)
But wow, this is like LOTR!

It's all very simple--they're trying to attack McCain's strength. Hell, it worked for McCain in attacking the Obamessiah as an agent of "change," so it should work the other way, should it not?
The one fly in the ointment is this--McCain's demonstrated that he has courage, and with his pick of the Sarahnator as his running mate, he shows that he can lay a legitimate claim to the "change" mantle. Obama has voted with his party 97% of the time in the Senate--showing that he's more liberal than either Hillary Clinton or Teddy Kennedy--and has sponsored exactly one bill with a Republican co-sponsor, and it was a re-authorization of an act that was passed with bipartisan support in 1996.
One is the product of, arguably, the most corrupt political machine in the United States--Chicago's Democrats--and the other placed on his ticket someone who ran against arguably the most corrupt Republican political machine in the United States--Alaska--and won. Who's the agent of "Change" ehre?
