I want to thank Trump.....
My best friend (who is also my cowriter) lives in England. She tries to come to the US a couple of times a year to attend conventions and meet with her fans. Now, thanks to Trump's stupidity and his follower's insanity, she's cancelled her trips for this year. This means we're not going to get to see her for at least four years.
So thanks, Trump, for destroying our country. For making people afraid to come here. For screwing our economy, including massive impacts on tourism.
I will never understand those who voted for him. I wish with all my might that what they voted for only impacted them, but sadly we have to suffer too.

2. Here's a weird idea ... Heathrow is back in operation, and the UK also has several other international airports. Howzabout DU-Denizen WillParkinson visits this "cowriter" on his own dime for a change. If this writing effort is an actual business that actually has, at least recently, made a profit, the trip could be written off - partly or entirely - as a business expense (that assumes that WillParkinson has been honest and reported the income in his taxes).

Well it can't be to big of an impediment to come here from England. this past weekend I made my annual trip to Kansas City to go to Planet Comicon and meet David Tennet who played one of the many Doctors in the tv show Doctor Who. I did it for my daughter because she is a big fan and I know that as a single mom she couldn't afford the $400 VIP package I paid to get a couple of pictures and to be in the panel that day. I didn't go to the panel but I got the pictures and that is what counted.
