Chuck Todd Gone Wild: Former NBC Pundit Calls Biden 'Craven Political Animal,' Image Was 'Bullshit'

Whoa. If there was one thing I didn’t expect to hear today, it was former “Meet the Press" and NBC News political pundit Chuck Todd blasting former President Joe Biden in deeply personal terms. But he did exactly that on Sunday and sure didn’t hold back, saying that Biden’s image as a family man was utter bull droppings and that “he never should have been there [in the Oval Office] in the first place.”

He was speaking with Steve Schmidt, co-founder of the odious Lincoln Project, on "The Warning" podcast, and the two  were talking about why the Democrats lost the ’24 presidential election (answer: because their policies are terrible) when Todd launched into his tirade:

Quote
"You know, Joe Biden never should have been there in the first place, right? Number one, he shouldn't have run for president [in 2020]," Todd remarked.

"I completely got so angry at Joe Biden, the man, when I read the transcript of the Hunter Biden trial, and when I realized that not one, not two, but three Biden children, and I count Beau's widow, were all dealing with drug problems in 2018. And Joe Biden said, 'Now's a perfect time to run for president, because who cares about our family?'"

"I have to tell you something about Joe Biden. There's this mythology about Joe Biden, that the man cared so much, it's all bulls---," he continued.

Todd said Biden had "created this myth," over his 40-year career, that he was an "incredible family man."

"And instead, what he really was, was a craven political animal that was desperate, that considered a run for president every four years that he was eligible," he added.

Todd would have more credibility if he’d been louder about his concerns when it mattered, but to be fair, he was one of the only voices in the corrupt press that would even acknowledge the issue. After Biden’s disastrous June debate with Trump, Todd had to admit things weren’t looking good:

How could I miss what was never truly there?

BTW, I think this meme was posted on DU and here several weeks ago. It isn't any better in re-run.

Biden is and was a loser. He only looked out for himself and at some point decided he needed to make more money and sold out the US to the Chinese, the Iranians and the Russians for a bag full of loop for him and his family they all should go go to jail And I was mentioned all of his children are nothing more than drug addicts. How was that for a family?

This example, and others like it, are simply efforts aimed at clawing back lost credibility...and they're aimed at people who can't remember beyond yesterday.

This is not the first and it will not be the last. The propaganda media as we knew it is on life support.

I'm reminded of a scene from Star Trek: The undiscovered country:

Kirk: Don't believe them, Don't trust them.

Spock: They're dying.

Kirk: Let them die.

Hokayyyyyyyy ... how was Chuckles Todd describing LIEden 12 or 18 months ago? With awe? Claiming LIEden was perfectly competent?

I don't actually know, but that was the Dem Party line MSM-folk who wanted to keep their jobs were parroting.

If they wanted to keep their jobs they should have been honest.

They sacrified their futures for the sake of the present, and now the bill has come due.
