At best the USA pulls out of this proxy war that the neocons and NATO got us in. We keep hundreds of billions in American tax money and the euros shoulder both Ukraine and NATO. As well europe has shown the wrong man which side they are on and the base closures will financially bankrupt hundreds of small towns and medium cities in germany alone and other eu countries.
What we may be looking at is a breakup of the eu as the eastern Europeans can't be happy about not being under the USA's protection and force projection. And let's face it europe is under our protection and without that they will be vulnerable to outside forces if the muzzies they willing imported and pay for don't destroy them from the inside.
