I know they’re serious. I went to the store a bit ago and there wasn’t a single Twinkie, Ding Dong, or bag of Cheetos in the whole store!!
It was devastating. :rotf:

If Buzzfeed were a food store next to a legal pot shop, they'd make an exception.

DOCUMENT YOUR ACTIONS THAT DAY!
Document yourself not spending anything?

Document yourself not spending anything?
Yeah, well, it's DUmmies so documenting non-action should be a way of life for some/many of them.
I made a couple of Azamon purchases a couple of days ago (a hand weights A-frame rack and some coffee filters), so maybe we'll have CfA tonight or tomorrow night.

Document yourself not spending anything?
You know, because DUmp'Rats are all about proving a null value. :thatsright:

Listen DUmmys, the big day to boycott everything is February 29th.
-
This is a sharpton 'SUPPORT DEI' boycott.
Funny the DUmmy doesn't...'say his name'.

So the organizers are wanting … bullet points??
:lmao:
You literally cannot make this up.

Buy your new Caps Locks key on 2/27.
They forgot to stay off of The Internet since every click generates ad revenue.

Considering economic productivity or lack thereof is not measured in days but a longer time period, a one day "BOYCOTT" means little. The leftists will still either buy all their Cheetos and weed today, perform their miniscule symbolic protest tomorrow, and then buy all the junk again on Saturday, March 1st.
Then again, leftists have zero idea how the economy nor businesses work.

Sounds like a typical day on Facebook for them.

There's a handful of posts over there that point out that this "boycott" will accomplish nothing. But they are getting shouted down by DUer's insisting that somebody, somewhere will notice. And, of course, they rely on the old fallback position that even if they fail miserably in their efforts, at least they did something to make them feel like they were doing something. The ultimate in ineffective "feel good" pop psychology. Start polishing up the participation trophies. But I did enjoy the number of people discussing how they were doing all their shopping on Thursday so they could participate on Friday. I wouldn't be surprised if stores in lefty areas actually saw a tiny uptick in sales from people impulse buying before the "big boycott". This post did make me chuckle:

YoshidaYui is a perpetually unemployed loser who spends all her time smoking dope, playing video games and mooching off of her parents. But she has a plan to bring Colonel Sanders (who apparently is a Nazi fascist) to his knees.

Is everyone ready for the collapse of society today due to the dummies boycott? :rotf: :rotf: :lmao: :lmao:

A not-DU-grade Prog FB Friend who works in retail posted this AM:
Go ahead with your economic blackout!
Just remember, when you go to shop in-store and there are not enough cashiers or workers to help you, think back to this. Stores will cut the staff’s hours because people are not shopping. That’s the way it works.
Trying not to be snarky, I replied:
Given how successful the years-long boycotts of a certain fast-food chicken place and Hobby Lobby have been, I'm curious whether you noticed a difference if you work today.

:yahoo: There might even be 5 or 10 fewer cars on the freeway during my commutes! :yahoo: Yeah, no, it'll be the usual for a Friday this time of the year.

The SNAP systems may enjoy a day of lower network traffic.

Pretty soon, the boycott will be history.

Went to the grocery store as is my want on friday mornings. About the same level of busyness as it varies greatly as to time you go. Bought a couple dozen eggs on sale for $4 bucks. Then went down and got the dog some cow hoofs, which have doubled last July and a toy. Finally stopped in at the drug store to get a couple six packs of Negra Modelos. Grocery doesn't carry them. A more or less typical Friday of which my buying probably equals many DUmmys weekly buying.

...
The FB Friend posted later that the store was as busy as normal for a Friday. I'm intentionally not posting details - name of store, location, whether the Friend is M or F - but I will say that the store would have been among those avoided by boycotting Proggies.

Wife reports usual large amount of retail activity in our parts. Ho hum.

To celebrate DU-grade Progs failed tantrum and replace my aging daily-wear shoes (bought pre-Covid, IIRC), I bought a couple pair of New Balance running/walking shoes yesterday on Amazon at a very good price.
Not being a mirror-image DU-grade jerk, I didn't tweak my Lib/Prog FB Friend about their concerns about the boycott having proved unnecessary.

I forgot all about their latest little tantrum. Thankfully, I had to buy some supplies for work yesterday so I anti-protested at least a little bit.
Oh, and piss be upon them. <- Never mind, they'd probably like that.
