My partner and I do the same thing. Two years ago we came into some money and decided to buy a new car for the first time since we are in our 70s.
In two years it decreased in value almost by 1/2!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you make it to 70 and not realize how quickly a brand new car depreciates?
