Yesterday I was sitting around pondering things and figured that I needed some insight from someone who knows when a Rubik’s Cube has been crossed. Someone who is a classically trained historian, is a combat medic, is a roving reporter, is a…well…is an everything with a packet of peanut butter in her boots, a knife on her belt, and a good rig on her neck AND has spoken to a submarine captain. I knew of only one such person. The first attachment is a photo with two of the pieces of “wisdom” that I screen captured from Facebook.
The one on the left side is the day after the inauguration and is standard, old-fashioned nads goodness. I am, however, trying to figure out what a “ROVER baron class” is AND why leopards are feasting. She seems to mention leopards a fair bit in her missives.
The one on the right side is about DOGE possibly giving us back $5000 of our own money. I only included it because, since Nadine considers giving back some of the money that was fleeced from us a bribe, I wonder what she considered SloJo screwing us all over by “forgiving” the student debt of a select few.
The second attachment (if it attaches and can be read) has three examples of her uncannily accurate election predictions. I assume that she’s so accurate due to her great wisdom in combination with her being able to read patterns and whatnot.

I could see someone as pretty as Eva Gabor pulling off that kind of butchery of the language with her Lisa Douglas character on Green Acres but Nads is no Eva Gabor.

Eva was a lovely lady. Comparing her to nads, I think, would be a perfect example of being diametrically opposite.

I honestly hope they don’t give out $5k checks. I’d prefer a tax cut. You know, for people who actually pay taxes. If you get back more than you pay in you don’t qualify.

On the whole I like Elon but doesn't he realize that giving everybody a $5K check will just cause a surge in inflation?

Maybe not to someone of her ample means and less than ample intellect, but maybe if a normal person figures out how many mortgage or rent payments that $5000 would pay, they would be less dismissive.

I agree with the tax credit idea. Her comment about the $5000 shows just how out of touch with reality that she is as she lives her life of luxury off of the back of the tax payers, but the part of her comment that made me laugh out loud was when she said "we are not in the business of giving out money". If they weren't giving out so much money then DOGE wouldn't have anything to find.

In practical terms, $5000 would be more than one mortgage payment. I suspect that I am far from unique in that calculation, whether rent or mortgage payment.

Agreed. Although I don't pay taxes now, I have for the 50 years I did work and you're correct, that 5K would be nice..
