People are fleeing Texas and Florida, account for 30% of ALL homes For Sale in USA
Well not a surprise at all!
Both Texas and Florida have very repressive state governments.
Two Republican states that…
HATE women,
HATE minorities,
HATE diversity,
HATE poor people,
New doctors avoid Texas like the Bubonic Plague
Young WOMEN avoid Texas and Florida,,, state will KILL women by denying care.
Immigrants are leaving Texas and Florida

People are fleeing Florida and Texas. As of Jan. 2025, those states collectively accounted for over 30% of ALL homes for sale in the US. Florida had 157,221 active listings—the highest in the country—followed by Texas with 102,552.
Repressive state governments and rising insurance are to blame.
The only link provided was to another liberal bubble (or so I'm told, I've never been there) and that causes an issue for another DUmmie ...

That gives context to this?
Number of homes for sale is kind a meaningless metric without any context.
So OP responds with an old link to something that's not even related.

A bit dated from 2019 on why people leave Texas,
Or refuse to move to Texas

The study also revealed which states are losing more residents than they are gaining. The list of those losing the most people is as follows:

District of Columbia (-24.8 percent)
New Mexico (-21.2 percent)
Arizona (-21 percent)
Montana (20.8 percent)
Oklahoma (-20.2 percent)
Connecticut (-14.9 percent)
Maryland (-14.8 percent)
West Virginia (-14.6 percent)
Utah (-14.6 percent)

50. So, Florida and Texas are actually gaining people, not losing them.

51. Yes. The OP is from a SM post with no article or context linked

Just because there are more home for sale in Texas and Florida than other states doesn't mean people are leaving the state. Duh...more people live there, so there are going to be more homes on the market. It doesn't show net migration or anything.

You notice it traffic jams on streets that never had traffic jams 20 years before. Tons of house construction and enormous apartment complexes. They're not building these things because the population is fleeing.
And another company is relocating their HQ to Plano - KFC!

Ha. Pretty good burn.
They are in such a chaotic frenzy right now trying to find some poison in Trump's fraud and waste hunt, but all they are left with is making stuff up. It's been like this for a few weeks over there now. It's gotten so stupid that I've almost quit reading over there.

It bears repeating: If conclusion-jumping were a sport, dems would sweep the podium.

This absurd DUmmy is echoing the famed baseball player Yogi Berra and his infamous quote:
Its so crowded, no one goes there anymore.
-
I particularly like this part of one of the posts.
And another company is relocating their HQ to Plano - KFC!
For non Texans, that town is pronounced Plane Oh
Word on the street here in Texas is they are going to change the name to Plano Fried Chicken!

Darn, I was kind of hoping this was accurate, cause the real estate market around DFW is insane. Opening up some houses and rentals would help get some of these older kids out of my house. :rotf:

What a fail. Chilling to know that most of them get their news from DU. They rely on it for truth.

I have friend who is now in Florida. She isn't leaving there for the reasons the DUmmy states. She is leaving because of the humidity in summer and all of her friends are here in the Omaha area. She is just waiting for someone to buy her home which is in a very nice, gated community with a golf course and the home are reasonably priced.

Very true. They did say they were their own fact checkers.

As the Florida resident for the past 50 years, who has seen the explosion of growth, specially Liberal Yankees from up north it breaks my heart. If they want to leave, I would go and help them pack

One thing I like about where Galt's Gulch is located, here in Wyoming, is that outside of the Jellystone/Jackson's Hole region, there really isn't a lot of tourist traps here. People who come here mostly come to WORK (and do so unmolested by government, for the most part); a state of affairs not particularly attractive to leftist scum and thus explanative of the reason there aren't a whole lot of them here.
