Easy breezy Resistance task: Flood Google with this:
1. Google Gulf of Mexico.
2. it says Gulf of America
3. Click three little dots to the right of it
4. hit "Send Feedback"
5. hit "Gulf Of America"
6. hit "Inaccurate content".
7. hit "Incorrect", then tell them its name: ‘This body of water is the Gulf of Mexico’
8. Repeat task often

Does anyone else recall when the left attempted to manipulate the web search algorithms during the President George W. Bush administration so that typing the word "miserable failure" provided a picture and negative stories about the then President? It is akin to "DU this poll!!!!11!!eleventy!!!!!"

Mexican president signals possible lawsuit against Google over Gulf of America name change
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said Thursday her government was deciding whether to initiate a lawsuit against Google for renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America on Google Maps.
"We are going to wait. We are already seeing, observing what this would mean from the perspective of legal advice, but we hope that they will make a revision," Sheinbaum said, according to Reuters.

A disclaimer: When President Trump first mentioned renaming it a few weeks ago, it made me wonder who actually controls the naming of bodies of water.
It sure as hell isn't Google or Encyclopedia Britannica, nor the Associated Press.
Additionally my silly brain wondered if it still counts that I have been in the Gulf of Mexico, can I still say that I have been in the Gulf of America? I've seen the Cleveland Indians play baseball, and the Washington Redskins, amongst other culturally "insensitive" renamed sports teams.
This semantic game for the perpetually butt-hurt left doesn't fix a damn thing except to make the AWFUL's feel better (Of course, that's an acronym for Affluent White Female Urban Leftists).

So, the program I usually listen to on the way to work (Jenna Ellis In The Morning) started off talking about how the AP was blocked from an EO signing event because they are not calling it the Gulf of America, and a lot of butt hurt, calling it blocking freedom of the press, blah blah blah, and the conversation took an interesting turn to control of language and how much the AP Style Guide controls language. They gave the example of how AP dropped 437 new pronouns into the Style Guide, and suddenly people got chastised for not recognizing all of them. Good reminders about the power of words and what happens when groups start controlling or giving the illusion of controlling meanings and language.
