What are they resisting?  They may be resisting moonbattery.  However, given the vaguery of the sign, it most likely is a fellow moonbat virtue signalling in nice simple short terms that don't require too much thought.

MN isn't all that blue. It's like many states where rural is red but the cities are blue.
