Fears of a land grab have erupted across fire-ravaged areas of Los Angeles County, as local and state officials have already begun discussing plans for "LA 2.0." One user on X commented, "Tell me this was a planned demolition without telling me this was a planned demolition."
Governor Gavin Newsom announces a sweeping plan to rebuild Los Angeles, dubbing it "L.A. 2.0" under a Marshall Plan-inspired initiative that signals major changes for the city.

"They are going to turn Altadena into one gigantic apartment complex," X user Bay Area State OF Mind said, referring to local officials who want to change zoning in the Altadena area from single-family to multi-family. In other words, some officials want to usher in the construction of apartment buildings and so-called 'smart cities.'
Could the Los Angeles wildfires be a pretext to turn places into one big apartment complex?

Certainly possible. After all, those parts of Commiefornia that aren't a dystopian wasteland akin to a Mad Max set are a friggin' Leftist prison complex already. Might as well build gigantic Soviet-style apartment projects and look the part, right? :whatever:
At this point you couldn't get me into Commiefornia with a gun to my temple: I'd much sooner take the bullet.

Is there more evidence for this CT than I have for claiming that Noisome is a Purple Neptunian?

I can’t imagine the mess this is going to be for homeowners to try to reconstruct their homes. I think they will face a monstrous challenge of government regulation, greedy real estate and developers, lack of workers and materials to be able to rebuild.
