I am done with stupid people. Just done.
My New Year's resolution is to avoid stupid people at all costs. If that means that I have to live like a hermit, so be it. I'm not watching cable news. I'm not watching comedy shows that make fun of cable news. I'm not watching Trump nor any other Republican. I'm not watching MAGA podcasts, not following MAGA Twitter, not watching MAGA YouTube videos.

I do BlueSky. I do DU. I watch streaming TV shows, and most importantly, I study. I just want to spend the rest of my life learning, and I want to spend my time with people who value learning and understanding.

Learning makes the stupid go away.

In several clips posted on X from the swearing-in ceremony for new senators, Harris can be seen standing up and placing her hand over her heart as she called on members of the Senate to join her “in saying the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag.”

While the first few words go smoothly, with her reciting, “I pledge allegiance…,” that’s as far as she gets before she messes up.

After Harris said the word “allegiance,” she added, “to the United States of America,” while everyone else in the chamber said the correct line, which is “to the flag of the United States of America.”
