This OP really isn't worth bringing over, but it's so silly and immature I couldn't help myself.

Laying in my bedroom this Christmas Eve
My sister and our friend wanted to watch that Red One on Prime. I told her I didn't want to watch it, because it looked stupid, but it was two to one.
Unless it has a strong story line, great actors or at the very least a guy I find attractive I am not interested. This didn't meet any of my criteria. So I am a Bah Humbug I know, but I wish they would have picked something we could all watch.
Just feeling sorry for myself I know.
Anyone who has kids has had to deal with them fighting over what to watch on the TV. Usually, they can work it out with some sort of a compromise, but occasionally someone ends up upset if they don't get their way and decides to stomp off to their room and pout. Kids usually grow out of this behavior while they're still in elementary school. BlueKota is 62 years old.:rotf: Pouting because she didn't get to choose the movie. And missing out on Christmas Eve because she's such a child. And rushing to DU to let the world know it. If I had her phone number, I'd call her up and let my 4-year-old grandson explain to her why "you sometimes have to share" and how "only babies throw tantrums", which is what he said the other day while telling me about some sort of crayon related drama that went down in his Pre-K classroom.

I figured Blueidiot was upset because they were watching "It's a Wonderful Life", or "Miracle On 34th Street", or even "Die Hard" or "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer"
Now those would be something for a Dummie to be glum over...
As if "President Donald J. Trump" wasn't enough! :rotf:

Red One was a nice enough movie. Nothing to write home about, just a fun fantasy adventure that I saw with my fiancee, her family and a couple others. We all liked it.
Between that and 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,' 2024 was a good year for Christmas movies.

It's all about colors. I assume BlueKota was blue because the "red" in the movie title made her think of the bad Orange man whipping her empty suit candidate who pretended to be a middle class kid in a green lawn neighborhood whose only selling point was that she is a brown woman.

BlueKota didn't get her way (assuming not a gay) so she went and pouted in her room. Sounds more like a toddler than a 62YO.

A bitter Christmas, eh.
