Can we stop pretending that everything is "normal"...
Cable channels, like CNN, report that Trump is "hinting" that he may take over Panama and Greenland, as part of a negotiation. No, it was more like a threat... and that is how the leaders of those countries took it.
Donald Trump is working hand and glove with Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin to further the goals of the Russian autocrat. Perhaps Putin wants to get even with America for their participation in the dismantling of the old USSR? He would like to re-establish the old Soviet Union.
Whatever is happening, it is not "normal".
Sticking our heads in the sands and pretending otherwise will lead to no good end.
But this effort to "normalize" seems to be pretty widespread throughout the media.

kentuck, the media softening regarding Trump is them kissing up in order to retain their undeserved positions of influence. Maybe you don't, but they are very aware of the bullshit they spread daily. And, they're hoping to not be called on it. Just like your political heros, the media goes with how the wind blows.

President Trump is in and the uniparty is out. Radical change is coming--even someone as stupid as kentuck senses it. Whatever is coming is not going to be normal. Decent Americans are sick of normal and they voted for change. Trump is going to move with lightning speed. I figure Trump has a flurry of actions set to be triggered the instant he finishes taking the oath of office--leftists aren't going to know what hit them. For the first time in his life kentuck is ahead of the curve.
