Pennsylvania Democrat Sen. John Fetterman said he hopes President-elect Donald Trump is successful in his second term and that he's not "rooting against him."
"If you're rooting against the president, you are rooting against the nation," Fetterman told ABC "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl. "So country first. I know that's become maybe like a cliche, but it happens to be true."
Fetterman, who has made headlines as one of the few in his party who have met with several of Trump's cabinet picks, said his Democratic colleagues need to "chill out" over everything Trump does.
"I've been warning people, like, 'You got to chill out,' you know? Like the constant, you know, freakout, it's not helpful," Fetterman said. "Pack a lunch, pace yourself, because he hasn't even taken office yet."

100% negative replies. The primitives might be screaming and seething over reports that Biden is in decline but they aren't giving Fetterman the benefit of the doubt. The replies are 100% negative and vicious to boot. :bwah:

But, I thought it was TOS violation to post negative comments about Democratics!

Fetterman says Trump has "political talent that's undeniable" and adds, "I never believed that it was about fascism ... that's not a word that regular people use."
The above probably threw some gas on the fire: Fetterman saying that DUers and their overlords are not "regular" people.
Anyway, good on Fetterman. I had the same sentiment when Magical Zero was first elected. While I surely didn't want his dream to change and destroy America to come to pass, I did hope that he ultimately had a successful presidency because a successful presidency, to me, means that people can get by without having to work themselves to death with three or four jobs, that people can afford groceries and gas, that we're not being invaded at our borders, that the military who protect us aren't dying left and right due to our enemies, and that normal citizens (not delusional idiots like the members of DU) have a bit of confidence in the country and in the fact that if they work hard they can get ahead instead of barely scraping by.

If democrats find themselves hoping for Trump to fail because their hatred for him is just that intense, it might be time for them to reconsider their worldview.

He went from here to Zero pretty quick, it’s always fun to watch them eat their own. I can’t believe all the hate in that thread. They hate Trump so much. They don’t want him to succeed to make life better for them in millions of other Americans. And they’re worried about the 11 million illegal immigrants that are draining our economy like we really need them. They’re getting free medical care education, money every month food lodging, free, plane fare and who knows what else benefits.

I suspect John Fetterman is going to be a target of DU hatred like with Ralph Nader and Tulsi Gabbard.
-
Fetterman may go Manchin soon and dropout of the D party.
-
Admittedly I and others here bashed the living daylights out him when he ran for Senate in 2022. Apparently that trip to a mental health facility worked out wonderfully as he now actually seems to have a functioning brain.
He's not long for the Democrat party if he keeps up such blasphemy though. He'll never be a Republican, but you're correct DUmp Diver, he might go the Manchin path.

:lmao:
Does The Party even have a mechanism in place for DUmp'Rat Proles to denounce a carded Party Aparatchik for WrongThink??? I kinda doubt it, so perhaps they should STFU before the ThoughtPolice pay THEM a courtesy call and a complimentary kick starting of their thinking meat.
