The absolute worst part of Biden not getting reelected
We have disinscentivized good governance and will therefore quite likely never get it again. Biden, with the smallest majorities an incoming President had in the modern era, governed in an amazing way. We got gun control, an increased child credit, a massive infrastructure program, a foreign policy that weakened our enemies and ushered out a dictator whose family had been in power since the Nixon era and the moon landing was actual news. We also got a cabinet that did their jobs with no drama or corruption. We got the highest economic growth in my lifetime, increased salaries to the middle and lower classes.
To take one example, Biden did a much better job on the economy than Reagan but since Reagan ended inflation sooner he won 49 states. Why will anyone bother with governance ever again? In Democracies you get the government that the public deserves, well, we apparently deserve crappy governance.

Funny this thread should pop up just as I'm watching a video comparing the democrats' tactics to those of the mafia.
Disincentivizing good governance is how you got Biden in the first place. And when I say disincentivizing good governance, I mean disincentivizing governing at all. In its extreme form, it's how you got a candidate in Harris, who didn't seem to think it necessary to even campaign or do press conferences and interviews. You can imagine how she would have treated governing.

What gun control? No infrastructure was actually created, I'm assuming dsc is referring to Assad, who Biden and his lack of foreign policy had nothing to do with the ISIS/Al Qaeda connected group that is taking over the country, just cause you didn't hear about or acknowledge all the stupidity and drama of Biden's cabinet in your echo chamber doesn't mean it didn't happen, and the economy sucks and has sucked for four years, all their "good" numbers that make headlines get revised and buried within weeks, having no actual impact on the real world.
Sheep bleating whatever the pigs order them to bleat. Democrat good, Republican bad.

On a serious note, I kind of believe that what is going on in Syria is the equivalent of moving your hand from the active "eye" of an electric stove just to stick it inside the firebox of a burning wood stove, but I may be wrong.

I agree. Just the other day I was thinking that they're kind of like the mafia, but with less morals and ethics.
I've been watching videos on youtube, made by sammy the bull gravano, which tell stories of the mafia, and many times i've thought to myself, 'these guys would be preferrable to the democrat governance as we've seen and know it'. With the mafia, at least there were lines they wouldn't cross.
