I have a friend i've known for over 40 years and i keep evading his phone calls
prior to the election whenever we talked he kept denigrating Joe Biden.
no matter what I said, or explained about the good Biden did for this country it went in one ear and out the other.
he's a vet like me. we first met while i was on active duty serving in the Military District of Washington.
i explained that Biden did me a world of good when he waived VA fees/co pays during the pandemic. at that time I was suffering with my second bout of macular degeneration and the co pays were thru the roof.
i also explained how my mortgage payment keeps increasing due to the Trump tax cuts as my property taxes exploded beyond reason.
all of my arguments were met with "Biden is old". "Biden is feeble."
Never mind that Biden brought this country back from the brink of disaster. Never mind that inflation in this country is far below that of our allies and other countries. Never mind that Biden's economic policies have overwhelmingly helped America and our jobless rate is top notch in comparison to that of what he inherited from Trump.
I got so sick of that shit.
then he kept sending me videos of Judge Joe Brown denigrating Kamala Harris. My response was who the **** is Joe Brown and why should i care what he says about anything? Joe Brown isn't a policy maker. Joe Brown isn't even an elected official. He's a bitter naysayer who makes You Tube videos attacking both Harris and Obama. why the **** should I take his opinions with any credibility?
I'm just sick of trying to reason with people who have no reason.

1. Since the worldwide pandemic started in January 2020, this waiver of VA fees/co pays, if it happened, was probably implemented in 2020, by then-President Trump.
2. Federal tax cuts had zero to do with mortgage payments. If CatWoman has a fixed-rate mortgage, her mortgage payments did not increase. If CatWoman has a variable-rate mortgage, her mortgage payments are tied to some index, usually the Prime Rate or a similar Federal funds rate, not tax rates.
3. Property taxes are set locally, not by the Federal government, and are unrelated to Federal income tax rates.
4. Ummmmmm ... does CatWoman remember why the Dem Party edged Biden out of the Presidential race and sidelined him? In plain language, the Dem Party admitted that this friend was correct.

This is the dumbest thing from over there all week. She really thinks this? She never read a headline that said "Fed set to hike rates again?" If she really does have a mortgage, she wasn't qualified to sign all that paperwork.

Only one newbie DUmmie called her out on her mortgage and taxes nonsense. All the rest gave horrible advice, predictably "dump him;" One said to gaslight him, another said to barrage him with "facts and quotes" about Trump, and if he interrupts, barrage him with more. These DUmmies don't seem to realize that when you dump everyone around you who don't think like you, you will end up utterly alone, and nobody will trust you to not be an asshole "friend." All you'll have will be fake internet DUmp "friends."
