Anyone else feel the weirdness of this unprecedented time?
The election results vs those who think that something was weird about the results
The parade of reality TV failures and worse for tfg's cabinet
Mentions of nukes due to escalation in Ukraine
More capitulation and normalization by some (all?) of the MSM
Inactivity on the climate front leading to likely accelerated disasters

It's been what - 2 weeks since the election. I as yet don't know how to feel (except angry, sick, confused).
I don't understand the rush to yet another social networking site (Bluesky) - I don't use such tools - DU is enough. Why?
I don't understand why the left has never (aside from Air America) put any resources in countering the massive right wing propaganda machine.

Things I am waiting for - clarity on what "the resistance" will look like. How are our Dem politicians going to fight this mess? What part are we going to play - not to just stay in an echo chamber and scream, but actually DO?

Lost and wandering in the wilderness here. Wondering how this could have possibly happened. Wondering how so many people have lost their minds.

Nope, not me. You are the weirdo along with your fellow DUmmies.

Dear confused DUmmie:  Here's what's going on with Bluesky.  This is Twitter/X for lefties only.  All the lefties went over there because they couldn't stand the cons taking the majority on X, and they couldn't stand to hear any other opinion other than their own.

So now they're over there squabbling, and reporting each other all day long looking to get each other banned.   :lmao:  You people just love to ban things.

Air America failed because it was boring as hell.  Just one way groupthink.  Zzzzzzz

1. We've got to stop letting them call us "the left".

I'm feeling - I am in shock and numb. I'm panicked and cry myself to sleep every night. Lost and wandering in the wilderness is a great way to describe where I am.

If you're low on liberal tears...

Geez! Ike followed Truman. Nixon followed LBJ. Reagan followed Carter. GWB followed Clinton. Trump followed Obama, and will follow Biden.

The precedents, just since 1950, are ample.

Is NewHendoLib daring to suggest that Ike, Nixon, Reagan, and GWB weren't Fascist and neo-Nazi monsters? FFR time! Struggle-session time! :rotf:

:o What would you have us call you then? I thought you were left, and proud of it.

Where's the need for that when you own damn near every damn news station, academia, and Hollywood, dipshit?

Karin is right; the left loves their echo chambers. They don't want to hear the other side, they don't want to be challenged, they don't want to challenge others (because they'd get their butts handed to them), they just want a make-believe world where everyone agrees with them and others either agree or they become outcasts. They wanted Twitter to ban all opposing viewpoints. According to Zuckerberg, they wanted Facebook to do the same. They'd like for YouTube to follow suit and for Rumble to be made illegal. They are authoritarians.

It's hard to find a creature any more cowardly than a leftist.

Does any know if Bluesky has a tombstone icon or emoji? Should we suggest this so that we can have a visual indication of the ban parade?
