Let me see if I can find, oh, ANYTHING about Biden folks that seem weird or unusual... (https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219713959)

17. Disqualifying! Should be, anyhow.
Suck my dick, hypocrite asshole.

The number of idiots claiming that cross is a nazi symbol, even telling others to go google it, is ridiculous. Neither Google or DDG find any connection between the Jerusalem Cross and Nazism.
The world's knowledge at their fingertips, and they still cling to their ignorance.

DU-Grade Progs need to smokescreen Hegseth's military service, which includes deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan (unlike a certain other MN NG political candidate) and at least one Bronze Star and a Combat Infantry Badge.
AFAIK, Germany - Nazi or pre-Hitler - did not use the Jerusalem Cross ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerusalem_cross ) as an emblem. It predates Hitler by 8 or 9 centuries. The Iron Cross - with which Cattledogmay be confusing the Jerusalem Cross - was used by the Germans in the Nazi era ... and in WW1 ... and in the 1871 Franco-Prussian War ... dating back to the 1200s Teutonic Order.

How many DU-Denizens have "F___ Trump", "F___ Bush", or "F___ Reagan" tattoos?

The swastika (reversed from the Nazi version) actually was (and probably still is) a symbol used by Hindus and Buddhists before the Nazis co-opted it for themselves. But as for the Cross, yeah, it has nothing even remotely to do with the Nazis. They were just as anti-christian and antisemetic as the socialists and communists and DUmmies of today.

A lot of hate and even more stupidity in that thread.. I don’t know how they think some of that stuff up :thatsright:

The cross on his right bicep is Nazi, not a Celtic cross.
Deus Vult is used by Christian Nationalists.
Because, hello - Crusaders killing Muslims (and Jews along with the wrong sort of Christian Arabs) to claim the Holy Land for European Christians?
I'd be interested to hear what the troops under him have to say about him and his attitude to others. I'm pretty sure he treated them like NPCs.
Haele
DUmp flies doubling down. You can't see his right bicep in either of those pictures. Feeling provocative, I did a little looking, and while not finding any pictures of it, one article says he has a chi-rho tattoo on his upper arm.

One of the oldest Christian symbols. Assuming that's what Haele is talking about, they just desperately want to make Christianity equal nazism, i guess.
the article about his ink (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/the-tattooed-secretary-of-defense-here-is-all-of-pete-hegseth-s-ink-and-what-it-means/ar-AA1u2yVZ)

Pete Hegseth was a part of the same Brigade that I had served in when I was stationed in the 101st Airborne. He was a part of the 187th Inf The Rakkasans one of the best if not the best unit in the division. It's battalion streamers are so many that hardly anyone can hold the guidon up in formation. I hardly think that a unit with that much honor and respect of the Army's values and its own history would let a known racists stick around long in the military.
