Title: A Halloween Bouncy and Some Neighborhood Reality

First one of the more ridiculous Bouncies ever bounced:

Election year Halloween
We live in a blue city in an exceedingly dumb red state, in an older neighborhood with a totally cool HOA. ((Yes, apparently they do exist! It's our first HOA--and there are grandchildren two blocks away so we jumped in head first. Lucky.)

Tonight we've had many kids stop by, and several of them have said things like, "We love your sign!" One child told my husband he looks like Joe Biden and then asked, "Are you a Democrat or a Republican?" My husband said, "Go look at the sign over the garage." Kid looked back at him and put his tiny little fist of strength in the air, smiling.

So, small children, trick-or-treating, are discussing politics and pumping their "tiny little fist(s) of strength in the air" for Kamala.  Yep, that totally happened.  It's totally believable.

And then some reality:

Kids skipping our house during Halloween..Think it might be because they knew we had a Kamala sign
Hubby took it down right before trick or treating time so the kids could have fun without politics. Oh well.. We purchased two bags of candy from Costco so we will have a lot leftover. Regardless, our sign is going back up after trick or treating is over.

10. During 2016 in our former neighborhood,

which is heavily MAGA, we displayed both Halloween themed signs supporting Biden and mocking Trump. In previous years, we always received heavy traffic from Trick-or-Treaters. However, the activity at our house dropped dramatically that year and our outdoor cameras recorded several groups of children making such comments as "don't go there it's a Biden house" and "they don't like Trump, so we don't like them". We've since relocated to a more a more progressive community.

Biden signs in 2016?  No wonder Hillary lost.  But seriously, kids didn't skip your house because of some political signs.  They skipped your house because even the kids know you are to be avoided.  You are the creepy pariahs of the neighborhood.  And not just because of politics, but because you're rude, weird, antisocial misfits.

Kids don’t visit Dem houses because they have an aversion to being sexually molested by the occupants.

I have to be honest. When I initially saw that this Bouncy Tale did not include the standard "So" at the start, I was prepared to condemn it, but then I actually read it. Bravo, Lulu KC, bravo! Even though you didn't really follow the Bouncy Tale rules, you still fabricated, what I consider, to be a modern day Bouncy Tale masterpiece. While I do love that it's both concise and hilarious, what really puts it over the top for me is the last sentence: Kid looked back at him and put his tiny little fist of strength in the air, smiling.

Again, great work Lulu KC. If you continue on this path, you could end up a DU superstar. Thanks for the laugh, and please fabricate some more stories for our reading enjoyment.

Truth is that the DUmmys of this house give away cheap shitty candy. The DUchebags have done this for decades and are well known for it. The kids know not to bother with that house.

The cheapskate DUchebag is not Margaret:

More likely pencils or toothbrushes.

Or pre-filled out ballots.

"Tiny little fist of strength."    :rotf:

Yeah, those pencils and toothbrushes were an actual thing.  Certain AWFL DUmmies bragged about giving out pencils and toothbrushes, "one for each child."  It was hilarious, and we wondered how much TP was in their trees the next morning.

As an aside, I went over to the DUmp just now.  The whole entire world is talking about P'nut the Squirrel and Fred the Racoon.  Silence at the DUmp, as usual.

Can't wait for the inevitable squirrel and raccoon bouncy stories!

 :o

I'm not sure I would know quite what to think if someone told me that.

I'm willing to bet the "kid" meant her husband looked full of shit and in need of a diaper change...  :-)

What kid wants to give their candy to someone that will just turn around and give to some other kid> That's why they avoided your place.
