My dad put a Trump sign in his yard. This is what my sister wrote to him:
Dear Dad,

I am writing this to you to voice my profound disappointment in finding out that you have placed a Trump sign in your yard. How can I process this as anything other than a grave contradiction against everything you have ever taught me and modeled as to what it meant to be a Christian and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

It is an ugly fact that Trump incited a violent insurrection that led to the loss of life rather than gracefully conceding as a leader who truly cares about this country. And this is just one of many innumerable crimes he has chosen to perpetrate in his narcissistic quest for a second term as President.

His words, actions and policies run completely and outrageously against the teachings of Christ. I am shocked you would support a convicted rapist, felon, serial liar and individual who uses hate rhetoric and insults nearly every time he is interviewed. I am embarrassed because I have spent the last 8 years defending your integrity. I have been insisting, even to my own sister, that you would never stoop to supporting a man when his very actions mirror those of an antichrist.

My heart is full of grief over this. By supporting Trump and his agenda, you're condoning the stripping of my personal rights away and empowering a man who conducts himself without honor and deepens hate and division in America rather than unity, love and tolerance.

Your vote is your own and I believe in your right to have it, but now I wonder if you believe in mine? I implore you to research Project 2025 and question how this "plan" would improve anything about this country. Moreover, how, any of this upholds the teachings of Jesus. Matthew 25:31-45.

I am sending this, not to debate, I don't need you to defend your position and you do not owe me an apology. I hope, however, you will look deeply into your heart and pray or ponder everything I have stated here.

I am so proud of her I'm weeping right now!!!

A-fisking I will go:

... Trump incited a violent insurrection ... Totally false statement.

... that led to the loss of life ... Other than a protester/rioter who died of a heart attack and the woman shot by a Capitol Police officer from ambush, this statement is false.

... many innumerable crimes he has chosen to perpetrate in his narcissistic quest for a second term as President. Totally evidence-free false statement.

... a convicted rapist ... Totally false statement.

... a convicted... felon ... Appeals courts are very likely to overturn that pros-sham-cution and kangaroo court's verdict, on multiple grounds.

... serial liar ... But you are just fine with the Dems' and their MSM shills' 9+ years of systematically lying about and falsely accusing Trump? ::)

... hate rhetoric ... Sez the Progs who demonize Trump as Hitler.

... supporting a man when his very actions mirror those of an antichrist. Well, a half-kudo for varying from calling Trump Hitler and for the use of an indefinite article. That aside, where exactly has Trump demanded or even asked people to worship him? When did Trump implement or propose measures to prevent people who disagree with him from engaging in commerce?

... you're condoning the stripping of my personal rights away ... What Constitutional right(s) did Trump "strip away? Be specific, name the Bill of Rights Amendment and the right(s) specified in the amendment.

... research Project 2025 ... Dishonest straw man. The Trump Campaign is entirely separate from Project 2025.

... Matthew 25:31-45 ... If Coventina's sister actually read and tried to understand this passage, she might understand that it applies to individuals, not governments. Further, while I do not know whether Trump is a Christian believer or not (though I doubt it), Trump does engage in charitable activities, though many are done privately, almost, using Jesus' words, not letting his right hand know what his left hand is doing.

Given Coventina's and her sister's numerous false statements regarding and accusations against Trump, maybe they should consider the words of the 8th (Catholic and Lutheran enumeration) or 9th (Many other Protestants' enumeration) Commandment:

Quote
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Exodus 20:16, ESV

And you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Deuteronomy 5:20, ESV

Martin Luther's explanation of the meanings of this commandment is rather challenging:

Quote
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not tell lies about our neighbor, betray him, slander him, or hurt his reputation, but defend him, speak well of him, and explain everything in the kindest way.

If my vague recollection that Coventina is into Wicca/witchcraft, her recognition of Jesus words in Matthew is rather hypocritical, given Scripture's condemnation of witchcraft and other occult activities.

First, NEVER HAPPENED.
Second, if it had happened, Dad just rewrote his will.

Hopefully he will celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with other, less partisan-crazed, family and/or friends from church. Coventina and her sister would otherwise work to make his holidays miserable, especially if Trump wins.

Family and church should transcend partisan politics, but doesn't in the Prog-Universe.

I'm so sick of hearing about January 6th like it was the end of the world. They always leave out the part where Trump said to "peacefully protest", but regardless of that, in 1814 the British burned it down and the republic survived. Surely, a group of trespassers doesn't compare to that.

Since the sanctimonious alleged sister is disappointed that dad is supporting Trump (considering the above), how is she able to support Kammie Chameleon who apparently supported the 2020 riots since she advocated for a fund to bail them out when they were arrested? You know, the riots that I'm talking about. The one that they called "mostly peaceful" in which buildings really were vandalized, burned, and destroyed and people really were actually assaulted, raped, and killed.
