As we close in on election day and anticipate the end of the political world of Donald Trump, will it really be the end?

Or will it simply be the beginning of a new traumatic era, more bent on violence and incitement to overthrow our government?

We all hope it is the end of the crime spree and the end of the criminal Trump, but we don't dare to think that he is going to disappear or go to prison.

The damage that he has done to our country is incalculable.

....and why would kt quote Winston Churchill knowing he'd have hated the man like he hates Trump today. It's a better fit to imagine kt puttering around the English country-side in his sad little English (or French) 4 door with its 600CC, 28 HP engine trailing blue smoke and plastered with Neville Chamberlin stickers.

Well, if Trump loses, he has said that would be the end of his political career. OTOH, if Trump wins, his political career would end in January 2029. Either way, he increased the prominence of J. D. Vance, making him a likely successor in Dems' Derangement Train.
