And Obama??? :bird: :censored: I can't believe he just walked out of the line and ignored shaking that guy's hand. And that flower toss? I'm sorry, but I agree. It's not proper. Some may think it's nothing but not to me.

Amazing how he went out of his way to avoid shaking hands. That was an amazing bit of deliberate rudeness.
The flower toss couldn't be shocking or anything I think he would show an equal amount of interest in tossing a dandelion into a compost heap, which is a bout as much as he cares.

Except Michelle wasn't home with the kids. She was in Ohio and Indiana giving speeches, and she taped Ellen on Monday (her daughter's first day of school).
Had she actually been home with her daughters for their first week of school then that is fine. But she had time to jump on planes to campaign for her husband, so 9/11 is clearly of no real significance to her or Obama's campaign.
Yet another demonstration of poor judgement by Barack Hussein Obama.

I read that, too. the obama campaign said she was home with the girls on their first week of school, but in reality she
was out on the campaign trail. why would they be elusive about something so obviously disprovable?

I don't know. It seems a little much to criticize Obama over a flower toss. That's something more like what his supporters would do against Palin. I liked how they were cordial to each other and shared the loss that all Americans share from that day. It's 9/11. It's not politics. Save the criticism for the jerkweeds who dishonor the memory of the victims by advancing their kooky, Bush-hating fueled conspiracy theories.

Haven't you watched that woman? She couldn't hate whitefolk more if her father had been lynched by the Klan. It's largely assumed that the whole reason Teh Obammessiah spent 20 years in the pews of Rev. Wright's "church" - other than the political benefit of being seen amongst the black constituents at the largest black "church" in Chicago - was because Teh Blessed 'Chelly was by his side to keep his butt where she felt most comfortable.
Every time I see the two of them together, 'Chelly is the one that scares the piss outa me, like getting caught in a staring contest with a python. You know that if you don't move that snake'll get ya, but you don't dare move for fear of attracting any more attention from her than you already have.

I tend to agree, although it still bothers me that he said on more than one occasion that we were at least
partially responsible for getting attacked . . . something about a foreign policy that engenders hostility, & etc.

I too tend to agree but I did notice the "flower toss" when I was watching it. My immediate thought was Obama wished McCain had gone before him so he would know how to react.

It's weird you say that. On Michelle Malkin's website, referring to the US magazine debacle, they printed like 7 pictures in Michelle. In one, she was scowling like an old man returning soup at a deli (thanks, Seinfeld). They can't even find a half-dozen pleasant pictures of the woman.

I took Barracks flower toss as a somewhat typical gen-xer's lack of respect and piety. I also think he was out of his element,that being the center of attention.

My wife, an Air Force officer, was also greatly displeased with Obama's flower toss. We re-watched it on DVR several times and she was disgusted by his actions. She feels that he wasn't showing the proper respect like McCain did.

I think Evil Belle Michelle is so overcome by all this sudden proudness, she just wasn't up to the trip.
