It's a weaseling distinction without a difference. The Secret Service agent(s) spotted and fired upon Routh before Trump was in Routh's direct line of sight. What the agent(s) saw was Routh poking his gun muzzle through bushes in preparation for when Trump came into view. A foiled assassination attempt is still an assassination attempt.
DUmmie unblock is POed that this second attempt might sway undecided voters to vote for Trump, hence his/her Egyptian River swim.

Inspiring and endorsing political violence? Like Presidential Candidate 1 saying, publicly, that a "bullseye" needed to be placed on Presidential Candidate 2. Guess who said it and guess who the target was.
Like Tim Walz advising Harris supporters to get in the faces of random people at the grocery store?
Like Mad Maxine urging people to harass Trump cabinet members at restaurants?

From reports I've seen, the range may have been 300 or 400 yards, not trivial.
What is what-were-they-thinking-grade is that where Routh had camped out had been known to the Secret Service as a security risk since at least 2020, and probably since 2016. How bleeping hard is it to send an advance golf cart or a drone with an IR camera to patrol that fence line before Trump hits the links?

Anytime I hear or read "ANTIFA" I automatically remember Weeble Wooble Jerry Nadler claiming that it's just a myth. To make matters worse, for some reason, Nadler makes me think that Nadin has went trans.

On other threads they have speculated that Trump might not have been the intended target, it was just a coincidence he was there. They made similar claims after the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, proposing that Corey Comperatore could have actually been targeted and Trump getting hit was simply a random occurrence. Strange how these coincidences keep happening. My favorite theory that was posted over there is that Routh didn't intend to shoot anyone at all. That he could just be a homeless guy that was sleeping in the bushes. The explanation for him having a rifle is because everyone, even homeless people, are open carrying everywhere in Florida. The fact that open carry is illegal in Florida has to be ignored for this theory to work. I'm always amazed at how hard they will work to twist logic and flat out ignore facts in order to try to score a political point. Particularly entertaining is when a DUmmy will post some wild-ass theory and, when corrected by other DUmmies posting actual facts, will double and triple down. Those threads can get absolutely hilarious, not only because of the stupidity displayed, but because of the effort they'll expend making dozens and dozens posts long after it's obvious they're arguing with some mentally defective individual. I always wonder how many of those threads are generated by trolls and how many are generated by hardcore brain-dead DUmmies.
