Just finished a 6-part documentary on Netflix. Hitler and
Nazis, Evil on Trial. It is an account of Nazi Germany as told by CBS Jounalist William Shirer. It tells how Hitler took power and the atrocities the Nazis committed with footage from the war and the Nurenburg Trials. The parallels with how Hitler took power
and Trump are disturbing. Trump has followed Hitler's rise to power to the letter. I think if Trump gains power again he will be
even worse than Hitler. Trump is obviously insane, think of Hitler with nukes!

I have not watched the series the DUmmie is talking about; however, I have no doubt that they probably tried to slide in some similarities between Trump and Hitler. It's part of the DNC Bible. I also have no doubt that any reasonable sane person, if they were so inclined, could paint similarities to SloJo or KammieChameleon (KC) and Hitler or Stalin. Actually, every time I hear how KC is going to whip up some price controls, I'm reminded of the guy who was a lefty hero: Hugo Chavez. By the way, how did that work out? Oh, and the lunatic docZero should have said "worse than Hitler AND Watergate" in its initial post.
Anyway, the main reason I brought this over was docZero's last post.
I'm amazed that anyone in a group that is drooling in their worship for an empty-headed marionette who refuses to speak to a friendly press (who has also bowed to the DNC) has the nerve to claim anyone else is in a cult. Also, I've yet to actually meet anyone other than dem voters who deny the holocaust happened. As for Ukraine, I've yet to meet anyone who thinks Putin was justified in his invasion, but I have met people who don't believe we should be the money tree for Ukraine since we can't pay our own bills. That brings us to Hitler and Austria. Based completely on how this election has played out AND after watching the recent DNC circus, I'd have to say if the DUmmies were alive in the 30s that THEY would be the head of the line giving the mustache salute and cheering Hitler on. Oh, didn't Hitler do some price controls, too?

1. There are more likely to be Holocaust deniers or minimizers on DU - certainly among the Dems' Congressional caucus - than in any conservative discussion site I frequent. Any Holocaust deniers or minimizers on FR (not a fount of wisdom, IMO, but FR has been around a really long time)?
2. I have seen a few conservatives on one of the three discussion sites I frequent justify Putin's invasion, but even there, far from, "A good portion," of Rs or conservatives. They find me a thorn in their side, :-) , because I point out the gaping holes in their "reasoning".

I watched it. Don’t recall any specific overtones that suggested Hitler and Trump were on the same level, but as sociopaths the left will make a connection just because it’s how they’re programmed.
Besides, if examples of authoritarianism is what you seek, then there’s no better example today than the modern-day leftist ideology. Naturally primitives are unwilling to correctly self examine.

As others have already said, democrats are more given to groupthink and cult-like behavior than republicans. For evidence of this, look no further than topics like the "Uncle Joe" thread, in which you can see the misplaced adoration and false sense of closeness they have for their politicians.

I thought they said Bush 1 and 2 was Hitler. We all know that anyone opposed to their ideas is either a Nazi or Hitler. If they really knew their history, they wouldn't be tossing those names out so easily. Ny father fought the Nazi's in North Africa and ended up in a POW camp in Germany for three years after half of his battalion was either killed or captured.

Like most here, I suspect, I voted for Trump twice, and plan to do so a third time. However, I think the late Lee Rodgers (http://www.radiorodgers.com/bio.html) was wise in saying, "Never give your heart to a politician. He will break it."

Yeah, they've called so many people Hitler that it's hard to keep track of them all. I agree about tossing the name out so easily. I actually chastised someone on Facebook about it the other day. His excuse: Trump wants to have a mass deportation. Of course, he couldn't explain how deporting people who come here illegally was equivalent to trying to wipe out an entire population.
I have great appreciation for your father. The preacher who baptized me was captured by the Japanese during WWII. He was a survivor of the Bataan Death March and wrote a book about it. It was chilling what those people went through.

They claim to hate nazis but antifa is just the anarchic arm of the democrats party. Just like they supported blm when they rioted.

McCain was also Hitler in 2008, Romney was also Hitler in 2012. Then it became a catch-all, since I've heard pretty much every Republican under the sun called some variation of Hitler.
Please come up with some new schtick.
