It's because Democrats have played by the Rules and have not struck out en masse against the most outrageous political blather ever recorded in the Congressional Record. MAGA Republicans believed Democrats were mollified and couldn't and wouldn't effectively protest, to speak out, to reach out with resonance to the American public.

They guessed wrong. Not just the Convention, which in itself is remarkable. Think of yourself. How do you feel right now? Exhaling? Feeling good? Feeling optimistic? Feel like going out to knock on doors? Me too!

There's just been a giant collective tingle running down the Left's leg these last couple of days, hasn't there?  The DUmp is gonna have to borrow some of Joe's Depends for Kamala's acceptance word salad tonight.

I infest three news/politics discussion boards whose members are mostly in the conservative-libertarian spectrum (unlike DU, members of Prog POV and Never-Trumpers are not banned), with only 2 or 3 active members in common among the sites that I know of. Trump supporters are not in shock, not even that Dems believe their own baloney.

I kind of am shocked at the things Harris is willing to say out loud, especially bow that she actually is laying out some policy positions.

I do understand that the real democrat in this race (RFK jr.) received more than both of us combined.
