They love to toss around words like authoritarian and Nazis when referring to Republicans, but throw a few protests in their direction and they're ready to throw away the Constitution and send in the riot police.

Revoke all permits for protests immediately
The protestors have made it clear they are only there to cause chaos and hurt people and damage property.
Cancel all permits and clear the area before people get hurt.
We don't need another 1968 playing out on live TV. The stakes are to high and it's literally just the first day and they are already turning violent.

Given how critical this is we cannot afford to let it become out of control or a circus.
We cannot allow that violence to hurt her poll numbers. we cannot let the news media stories be about violent protests and push the convention to a side story because the news media would live that to happen.
So, they don't actually care about the violence, the arsons, the vandalism, the looting, they only care about how it reflects on Kamala's numbers.

If we wait until that is happening then the news media and Republicans have already won because they will crucify Democrats.
I don't give a shit about those protestors, I only care about VP Kamala Harris becoming president.
Screw your rights if they interfere with Kamala's campaign. And I can't believe nobody chimed in and claimed all the BLM violence was caused by right-wing agitators. That's been there go-to excuse for years.

Ah yes, move them far away so the big wigs aren't accidently exposed to them. I remember when the DUmp had fits over the Secret Service establishing designated "protest zones" during the presidencies of Bush and Trump, but now they're completely comfortable with shipping these protesters to a gulag. On a different thread they were upset that the police hadn't already broken out tear gas and rubber bullets. They have no problem with the US becoming a dictatorship, as long as it's their dictator in charge. They aren't smart enough to look at history and see how that never works out well for anybody.

With antisemitism rising across the globe, from assaults to graffiti, a new analysis finds the political motivation of perpetrators skews decisively to the left, with extreme progressives far more likely to commit such attacks as compared to Islamists or far-right activists like neo-Nazis.
The new findings come as the Democratic National Committee braces for potential unrest from anti-Israel protesters at its nominating convention next week in Chicago just days after presumptive nominee Kamala Harris was confronted at a New York fundraiser by a protest that required some arrests.
The weekly Global Antisemitism Report published by the Combat Antisemitism Movement analyzed 113 incidents that targeted Jewish victims worldwide and found that 57.5% of the perpetrators were identified as far leftists, 22.1% of them were Islamists, 11.5% were unknown and 8.9% were done by far-right extremists.
~60% of the antisemitic Hate-Israel violence has been by lefties, with just ~25% by Islamists. Their hatred for President Trump totally outweighs their glowing adoration of Krazy Kamala.
Caught a few moments from some leftist sycophants on Fox News this morning and the party line is that there were very few protesters yesterday, just a miniscule bunch of thugs. You know, mostly peaceful.
It is going to get much, much worse this week.

It's only starting with the protesters getting arrested. I think they should avoid the Christmas rush and send in the cops and the National Guard and remove most of the ROE when they make contact. It would be one short protest, but we all know those days are long gone because as others have mentioned they do not want the numbers going down for Kamala.

Major change of pace from all the times the DUmmies openly cheered on the violence and lawlessness of protestors on their side (Occupy Wall Street, Antifa, BLM, etc.), and portrayed any police action to hinder them from spreading this violence and lawlessness as sheer tyranny "Silencing dissent."
A few particularly noteworthy moments that immediately come to mind:
1. A DUmmy openly praising a group of Occupy nutcases who attacked police officers with rocks and fireworks.
2. An occasion when the DUmmies openly talked about violently storming the White House to overthrow Trump (Which also makes all their wetting their panties over J6 particularly hypocritical).
3. An occasion when the 2020 BLM rioters were trying to storm that courthouse, and one DUmmy not only cheered them on, but proposed a strategy that he believed would enable them to break through the police barricade and reach the courthouse. An incredibly stupid strategy that would never have actually worked in real life, but a strategy nonetheless.
4. An occasion a couple years ago when a DUmmy proposed bringing an end to conservative radio by having groups of protestors nationwide storm all conservative radio stations nationwide and "Liberate" them all in one swoop.

I'm old enough to remember how this same bunch of people went batshit crazy over 'free speech zones' when bush was in office.
